Every year Google comes out with a new version of its Android mobile OS. However, the hype and anticipation created for its latest Android 5.0 Lollipop hasn’t been seen in earlier versions. Android 5.0 Lollipop has a new look and feel, taking on “Material Design” with bold and new visuals consisting of a more colorful layout. The new user interface gives better touch screen interactions along with introducing vivid new colors, real-time lighting and shadows, natural motion and responsiveness etc. making the design intuitive!! The new UI has an animated touch feedback with a flat design, making the interface look more streamlined.

Android 5.0 Lollipop has revamped notifications, one being “heads-up notifications” which means when you get a mail, SMS or any other notification, they will appear on the top allowing you to respond or dismiss them without having to move away from whatever you are into, at that particular moment. The notification in your smart phone will also be arranged based on your categorization of their priority. The second improvisation is “lock screen notifications” where notifications appear on your lock screen, giving you a quick idea of them, without having to unlock your phone.

Through Android 5.0 you can get a better battery control. The ART feature turns off the background data when your device is flagging. You can switch it on manually or set an automatic system with a certain battery level. You will also be able to see the time left for battery to charge fully and time left for battery to drain off.
