Tonight marks the start of a very special partnership between Debut Contemporary and Harrison’s Fund. The charity is named after eight year old Harrison Smith from Surrey who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal genetic condition which affects the muscles, causing muscle weakness. The charity’s goal is to get as much money as possible into the hands of the world’s best researchers, who are working to find a cure for Duchenne

The show is curated by curated by well-known British artist Barry Martin, founder and CEO of Debut Con-temporary, Samir Ceric, and one of the gallery’s own artist’s, Klara Taussig-Cecmanova, whose two sons, Theo (3) and Oskar (1), both suffer from Duchenne. Klara and her husband Nick have been working very closely with Harrison’s Fund since their boy’s diagnosis back in August of this year.

20% of the money raised from sale of the exhibition pieces from tonight and future sales will go towards the charity, so we hope you can dig deep.
