The Vista-Domes are excellent locations for taking picturesand the following information may be helpful to cameraenthusiasts.COLOR W I T H O U T FILTER—When a filter is not used inmaking pictures through Vista Dome windows, no adjustmentneed be made in camera settings determined by means of an ex-posure meter. When an exposure table or guide is used, theexposure should be increased by one full camera stop for picturesthrough the side windows and one and one-half stops for picturesthrough the top windows.COLOR W I T H FILTER—When the exposure is determinedwith the use of an exposure meter from within the car, theincreased exposure amounts to two-thirds o f a camera stop. When the exposure is determined on the basis of exposure tablesor guides from the prevailing exterior daylight conditions, theestimated exposure should be increased by two f till camera stopsfor pictures made through the top windows and one and one-halfcamera stops when made through the side windows.

Passengers whose cameras are loaded wi th KodachromeFilm Type A should use Kodak Type A Fi l ter for Daylight(No. 85) i n conjunction with Color Compensating Filter No.CC30-R. The exposure increases are the same fo r this filtercombination as with Kodachrome Film Daylight Type and theCC30-11 Filter.

Because of the tinted glass used in the Vista-Domes, colorpictures made without color compensating fi lter No. CC30-11,will have improper color balance, even though the film may becorrectly exposed. Underexposures wi l l make the poor colorrendering more noticeable.BLACK AND W H I T E PICTURES—For taking black andwhite pictures with the use of an exposure meter no increasein camera stop is necessary. When an exposure table or guide isused the increase amounts to one full camera stop either throughthe top or side windows. No filier is necessary.
