DESCRIPTION
where i might like to visit on a boat
Citation preview
ItalyMy Journey will start in the city of Pisa located in Italy
(somewhere I have always wanted to visit). I will travel by train from the main street of Pisa to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tower was an old bell tower and was not made to be leaning over. I would like to find out why it is mysteriously leaning over
and why it is yet to fall. I shall like to venture inside and see what it was traditionally meant to be. I will also discover what the
residents of Pisa think of this amazing building.
I will try and enjoy different types of exiting Italian food such as pasta and pizza. I want to know the past of
these traditional foods and how they became known all over the world.
EgyptI Will then sail a 34 hour tiring trip from Italy to Egypt, crossing the Mediterranean Sea. When I am there I will visit the Sphinx and The Great Pyramid of Giza. I would like to find out which
kings were buried underneath and why. I would like to observe and admire the sand and limestone sculptures in the Sphinx.
I will sail down the famous River Nile all the way down until it meets the sea.
Brazil ( Amazon River )
Next, I will sail a 2 week, 3 day trip to the Amazon river in Brazil. To make this journey around Africa I will need to cross the Red
Sea, the Indian Ocean and the South Atlantic Ocean before reaching South America. Once in Brazil I expect to see some
amazing wildlife and wish to see a Toucan which you can’t find anywhere else in the world, and I will also look for a special type of horned frog that is almost extinct. I will enjoy admiring the
wildlife and other plants and tropical trees.
I will try different tropical berries and fruits found in the rainforest.
IcelandI will sail to across the North Atlantic Ocean from Brazil to arrive in Reykjavik, Iceland. Here I hope to see the spectacular display
of the northern lights as an almost magical ending to my trip. The northern lights are a beautiful display made by the interaction
between the earth and the sun.
