    PENNSYLVANIA'S TRAVEL GUIDE

ADVENTURE. Its one of those words we hear a lot when talking about vacations. And yet for many it can be an intimidating concept. We tend to think of adventure as pushing our bodies to do extraordinary feats like climbing Everest or hiking the Appalachian Trail. While that may be the case for some, for me, adventure is discovering some-thing new and exciting. It can be something as simple as searching for gnomes in the forest with my grandchildren or exploring a new wine trail with friends.

Summertime is the best time of year to live adventurously. From zip lining and whitewater rafting to antiquing and visiting all of PAs his-toric battlefields, Pennsylvania offers incred-ible opportunities for the seeker in all of us.

The quest for adventure goes along with the Pennsylvania Tourism Offices new slogan Pursue Your Happiness. Your idea of hap-piness may be different from mine, just as my definition of adventure may be different from yours. One thing that Im sure of is that well both find it here in Pennsylvania!
