Overfishing
• Overfishing occurs when fishing activities reduce fish stoks below an acceptable level.
• There are two types of overfishing:
• Biological• Bioeconomical
• Biological overfishing occurs when fishing mortality has reached a lever where the stock biomass has negative marginal growth.
• Bioeconomic overfishing additionally considers the cost of fishing and defines overfishing as a situation of negative marginal growth of resouce rent.
The amount of construction:
• There are a lot of construction.The people dont think with the consequences on the enivronment.
Impact of tourism:
• Majorca was once a quiet green island. But the tourism has changed it a lot.
• Forty years ago it became a centre for tourism.
• The turists had moved throgh the island and some of them had build seconds homes in the island growing the construction and braking and killing plants etc.
• Beaches are being damaged as every day huge quantities of sand are accidentally taken back to hotels on people's feet.
• The boom has brought traffic jams and pollution, too.
• Too much people coming on holiday means too much rubbish and a critical lack of water.
