This family of advanced motorisation products functions as a system to provide:

The WhisperShade IQ System is ideal for the everyday shading needs of personal comfort, whole-buildingautomationshading, and monumental or specialty shading.
Four main components:
IQ2® Electronic Drive Unit-ultra-quiet,robustperformancewithflexiblecontroloptionsandprecise positioning.
IQ switch-providesfixed,repeatable stop positions and three customisable intermediate stop positions.
IQ/MLC2®-microprocessorbased,four-motorcontroller,withbuilt in MechoNet communication and intermediate positioning for standard motors.
MechoNet-integrationofvariouswindow-coveringdeviceswithavariety of switches, accessories, dry-contactdevices,or3rd-partycontrol systems.

The IQ switch - Dry-contact control
More switches, more convenient control,moreflexibility.
An IQ switch can directly control a single shade band, a group of shades, or part of a hierarchy of local and master controls, without expensivegroupcontrollers.

Two-mode operation: Normal and Uniform
•Normal mode:Shade-band heights are adjustable to full-up,full-down,andthree intermediatepositions.Shade-band heights can be stopped atanypositionoratanyoffivepositions.
•Uniform mode:Shade-band heights are adjustable to onlythefivepositionsfora neat facade.
Switch configurations
•5-buttonswitchoffersfull operation including intermediate shade-bandheights.
•2-buttonswitchallowsfull-up orfull-downonlyforblackout shade-bandheights.

IQ/MLC2,thenext-generationmicroprocessor-based motor controller or 'dumb motor,' can be integrated on MechoNet alongwiththeIQ2ElectronicDrive Unit.
•Controlofstandardtubular and other motors controlls with mechanical limit switches, including for oversizedmotors, necessary for monumental shades.
