    The book Winston, Charlie & Blair were all working on manor farm in Bedfordshire, England.

    Finest Herding dogs & the best sheepdogs in the whole England.

    Winston was seven, Charlie was next at six & Blair was the young pup at four.

    Winston was always the leader, but the three of them would work as a pack, as a tea

    Every morning as the dawn broke, the farmer would whistle for his dogs

    The collies would race out to meet him by the farmhouse.

    The collies would walk & run the short distance from the farmhouse out to the fieldsthere to wherever the farmer planned on working that day.

    They lived in the barn. The farmer kept all important equipment in that bran and it next to the farmhouse.

    Winston, Charlie & Blair had all born on this farm. Twere probably related as cousins somehow.

    The collies were happy on the farm.

    Every day they worked hard for their rewards, but tenjoyed the work.

    It made them feel a sense of fulfillment each time th

    offered praise for a job well done.Collies on manor farm all agreed they were lucky to

    life they have. They were comfortable.

    It was dawn. The piercing whistle of the farmer brought Winston, Charlie & Blafrom the bran where they liked to sleep.

    The farmer was down by the house and he had three dogs there alongside him.

    These dogs were new on the farm.

    They did not look like a collie

    These dogs were form different countries like Poland, china & India

    The new dogs learned the work from the other three dogs

    The new dogs started improving day by day & the farmer praised for the worknever did for the other dogs.

    Winston felt there was something wrong and he called for a meeting behind theevening after work

    The discussed on the changing behavior of the farmer after the new dogs joined

    They were worried about replacing them with that of others.

    They were confused.

    One morning there was no whistle & all collies woke

    Perhaps the farmer was ill? Perhaps there was some reason for him to not call the dogs to work today?

    Charlie looked outside the barn. He found the new doworking in the farm.

    A large truck turned the corner & entered the farm

    The driver stopped the truck in front of the farmer a

    stepped out.She began talking to the farmer, but most of the wo

    couldnt be understood by the collies, even Winston wusually able to understand most human conversation

    The farmer & the truck driver told them to walk intback of the truck.

    As each collies passed the farmer he gave the dog a lon the head.

    While the truck moved Winston explained his thoughtloud to the other collies, hoping to reassure them.

    The collies were confused that the farmer is sending

    it was their first holiday.When the truck stopped and the door opened they fo

    new place with unusual smells

    It was nothing like the farm they had left behind. Thtrucks and cars everywhere, hundreds of them passinafter the other and the noise was horrendous.

    They were into kennel.

    During one of the morning exercise sessions Winston on the lead next to an old and wise-looking Staffordterrier named Matilda.

    Matilda explains the life in kennel.Many humans visited this place to select a dog for th

    Matilda also explained that if the dogs do not find thhomes for long time they were sent to the doctor frowhere the dogs never return.

    Many humans selected Blair and he always refused tountil they gave in.

    After seven years Winston and Matilda planned for aescape during the morning exercise session.

    The next morning Winston could not see Matilda dur

    exercise. She was neither in her kennel. He assumed that Matilda had ended up in the hands

    doctor.

    The next morning Winston explains the plan to the ottwo and then they escape from the kennel.

    They ran in the direction as explained by Matilda. They reached Alexandra park & built a small den be

    huge stone memorial marked on the front with somestrange letters- BOND

    One evening Blair finds something near the football p& he calls the other two.

    When they arrived at the boundary fence they could

    there was a group of humans with dogs of all differenshapes & sizes all out there on the field, led by one huwho was leader.

    They were trying to herd. But they werent herding s

    The leader had a goose and he was asking the dogs to

    it back into a wooden pen.

    Winston, Charlie & Blair watched transfixed

    The city dogs were useless.

    Some of them even attacked the goose & had taken atheir owners.

    The three dogs just recalled they way they were herd

    the farm watching this. Winston watched & watched. He wanted to find a w

    taking part & showing the skills he knew he & his fripossessed.

    But he could not find a way through the fence & the

    had no owner. The collies returned each day to the boundary fence t

    watch & see if the humans & dogs returned again wigeese.

    They didnt come for six days, but then on the seventat about the same time- Blair spotted the leader thethe field all alone.

    He ran back to the den to call the other collies

    The leader was out there training his own dog with tgoose.

    Blair introduces himself to Elvis (trainers dog) and asa chance to show his herding skill.

    Elvis barked at his owner.

    The man looked Elvis & Blair together. And gave a chBlair.

    Elvis was impressed

    Blair called out to Winston & Charlie

    The man carried on releasing the goose & letting each of therd it back to the pen

    The man introduces himself as Uncle John.

    He then takes them home along with Elvis and gives themtraining the city dogs.

    One day during training Winston finds Matilda. The three collies worked hard and impressed the owner.

    They started accepting changes and adapting new thingsdepending on the environment.

    CONCLUSION Winston, Charlie & Blair managed to find a new job

    after the farmer found a new way to resource his far

    They found a new purpose & new goals by opening thto possibilities they had not seen before.

    This is something we can all do. Its becoming somethiall need to do.

    This is an issue that affects us all- not just the collies to find a new career away from the farm.

    As it becomes more common to source service from rglobal locations, what is possible to deliver remotely ein scope.
