Who Murdered Julio Granados? On June 22, 2016, at approximately midnight, Oceanside police officers responded to a 911 call for help in the area of 1510 Lemon Street. Officers arrived on scene and found Julio Granados lying on the sidewalk. Granados had been stabbed and was flown to a trauma center where he subsequently succumbed to his injury. Detectives from the Crimes of Violence Unit responded and spoke to witnesses who reported seeing suspects flee from the scene in a vehicle. Detectives are investigating the possibility that Granados and the suspect(s) knew each other, and do not believe it was a random act. San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information on the identity and or location of the person(s) responsible for this murder is asked to call the Oceanside Police Department’s Crimes of Violence Unit at (760) 435-4572 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Who Murdered Julio Granados?
