CareFlight operates from bases around Australia using King Air Turbo prop and Rescue Helicopter aircraſt to fly a combinaon of crical care doctors, flight nurses and paramedics to paents of all ages – we bring the hospital to the paent at accident sites, rural health facilies and on oil and gas plaorms. The CareFlight Aeromedical Retrieval Training, or CART, is a vital learning experience for all medical, nursing and paramedical personnel who are new to the aeromedical environment or are working towards a career in Aeromedical Retrieval. CART provides an insight into what it takes to be able to work within this highly challenging but rewarding aspect of modern medicine. Throughout over 30 years of operaons, CareFlight’s mission has remained the same: to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community through the provision of the highest level of rapid response crical care transport.
