Why Labour Law ?

Utilization and management of human capital in an organization has many facets and an important element is legislative and regulatory compliance. Each organization has its own specific sector wise labour issues, which may not be appropriately dealt within the law and regulations. The Ministry of Manpower, which is the regulatory authority and the Courts of Oman where disputes are finally judged are the two sources that provide valuable guidelines to employers, employees and trade unions.

With increasing number of labour law violations and disputes, it has become pertinent to create awareness and assist each other to mitigate damages with the combined efforts of all stakeholders.

SLTC is uniquely placed to provide that valuable information based on the law and the practice as adopted by the Ministry of Manpower and the Courts, through its training and education programs together with the support of Said Al Shahry Law Office (“SASLO”), a leading Omani law firm, which has 25 years of rich experience in the field of law.

Therefore, SLTC invites all companies from different sectors to come together in this initiative.
