status of the high class and, today has become

an indispensable electronic gadget in the life

of many.

The main reason for their higher market

penetrations in recent days is their incredible

array of functions at an affordable cost.

What is Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi, which stands for Wireless Fidelity, is aradio technology that networks computers sothey connect to each other and to the Internet

without wires . Short for wireless fidelity and is meant to be used

generically when referring to any type of 802.11networkwhether 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g,

dual-band,etc. Wi-fi is a wireless technology thatuses radio frequency to transmit data throughthe air.

Users can share documents and projects, aswell as an Internet connection among variouscomputer stations and easily connect to a

broadband Internet connection whiletraveling.

By using a Wi-Fi network, individuals cannetwork desktop computers, laptops andPDAs and share networked peripherals likeservers and printers.

A Wi-Fi network operates just like a wirednetwork, without the restrictions imposed bywires.

Not only does it enable users to move around bemobile at home and at work , it also provideseasy connections to the Internet and businessnetworks while traveling .

The technologies used in this field are one of the

best in the wireless space It is fairly easy to set upa Wi-Fi enabled network at home or a smalloffice.

One of the most prevalent advantages of WiFiwireless LAN technologies is that it iscompletely wire-free.
