Selling PointsBolgheri, located on Tuscany’s western coast, gained international prominence with the emergence of the first “Super Tuscan” wine, and Vermentino does particularly well in this region. Also, it is Michele Obama’s favourite white wine. …
Tasting NotesElegant and very stylish, full bodied and powerful wine. Acacia flowers, citrus fruit and green apple flavours dominate this wine. Its generous citrus, rosemary, pineapple and mineral flavours have terrific body but finish zesty and dry.

Floral, herbal, tropical and some citrus fruitsFreshN/AFullBeautiful citrus acidity, nuttiness£50.00
Selling PointsThe vineyard is named after the geese that “work” the weeds and grass between the rows. The natural weight and ‘oily’ texture and nutty nature of this varietal can give the impression that it has seen barrel aging, it spends 18 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks, then 6 months in bottle (no oak at all).
Tasting NotesStraw-like bright yellow with an intense nose of floral notes, cut grass, basil, hints of citrus and tropical fruits. Soft and balanced, oily palate with a touch of minerality, almonds and long finish.
Food MatchingCaesar salad, white meats, oily fish and even red meats go well with this wine.
