The natural weight and ‘oily’ texture and nutty nature of this varietal can give the impression that it has seen barrel aging, it spends 18 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks, then 6 months in bottle (no oak at all). Tasting Notes Straw-like bright yellow with an intense nose of floral notes, cut grass, basil, hints of citrus and tropical fruits. Soft and balanced, oily palate with a touch of minerality, almonds and long finish. Food Matching Caesar salad, white meats, oily fish and even red meats go well with this wine.
