Executive OverviewI will manage a communications, outreach, and lobbying campaign on behalf of the government of Sri Lanka which has the following objectives:

● To promote the value proposition and outstanding attributes of the country.● To depreciate any negative associations.● To encourage and develop an association with other targeted countries as a comrades with the similar strong

stance against terrorist organizations.● To develop and manage national peace programs in synergy with organizations like the United States Institute of

Peace and the Global Peace Festival.● To lobby decision makers and influencers primarily in the United States, and the United Nations, on behalf of your

country.

You will find that I have a unique background and network which enables me to be highly effective in this role. No other person or organization can offer you my distinct advantages. I have direct access to the top echelon of leaders in a variety of relevant organizations and media organizations and own a marketing and branding company. My father was Ambassador Samuel Lewis who while Ambassador to Israel was a key figure in the Camp David Accords which resulted in peace between Israel and Egypt in 1978. Ambassador Lewis was also the formative President at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP). Samuel’s role at USIP offers me unfettered access to the organization and it’s leaders. His reputation and legacy with Israel also affords me considerable access and name recognition with Israelis.

Richard Lewis, Founder and lead strategist, is the son of Ambassador Samuel Lewis who was a key figure in the Camp David Peace Accords between Egypt and Israel and who was the formative Director of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP).

I have formed a new company called the Winfield Group to manage communications campaign on behalf of countries who want to influencers and decision makers in the United States. Winfield Group is named in honor of Ambassador Samuel Winfield Lewis. Winfield is the middle name given to the oldest male child in the Lewis family. The Winfield Group is in a unique position to manage the following on behalf of governments and large institutions internationally.

Method Suggestion - Documentary Films

I will produce documentary films to promote the incredible positive attributes of your country. To lend credibility to the documentary I will hire American and foreign producers to build ties and sympathy and to lend the documentaries independent authenticity.

Once produced we will distribute the documentaries through normal television channels as well as on the Internet and include the documentaries in our online campaign.

Ambassador Samuel W. LewisDuring his lengthy career with the United States Department of State he served as Assistant Secretary of State for

International Organization Affairs (1975–1977), U.S. ambassador to Israel (1977–1985) and Director of Policy Planning

(1993–1994).[1][2] Lewis also headed the United States Institute of Peace from 1987 through 1993.

Born in Houston, Texas, Lewis received an B.A. from Yale University in 1952 and an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University

School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in 1954.

In 1977-85 Lewis served as Ambassador to Israel under Presidents Carter and Reagan, the second longest tenure of any

US Ambassador to Israel.[4] As ambassador, Lewis had a major role in negotiating the Camp David peace talks in 1978 that

resulted in a historic treaty between Egypt and Israel.

“Sam set a frame of reference that allowed Carter to understand Begin,” Aaron David Miller, a vice president of the Wilson

Center and a former U.S. Middle East negotiator, told The Washington Post.[5] “He managed to gain Begin’s confidence

and that set the stage for what I think is the most important act of diplomacy by an American president ever in the Middle

East.”

The Camp David Accords were signed Sept. 17, 1978, and within months Begin and Sadat were jointly awarded the Nobel

Peace Prize.

Richard was born in Washington, DC and grew up in a State Department family and traveled extensively prior to attending James Madison University. Richard lived in Israel for 4 years while his father was the American Ambassador to the country.

Case Studies - Gwendolyn Beck for Congress Campaign

I managed an online communications campaign for Gwendolyn which resulted in the largest vote count by an independent opposing both a Democratic and Republican challenger in over 100 years.

One of the press releases that I wrote for Gwendolyn achieved over 480,000 headline impressions.

I used to work directly with the president and am on a first name basis with him.

I have been working with the Director since the television show began production in 2009 and have been on the show and have hosted segments several times. The show is estimated to have a national and international following of 3 million viewers including a large segment in China

Access - U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) Washington, DCI am on a first name basis with the acting president and have unfettered access to USIP and top administrators. I have spoken to them and will manage a Sri Lanka peace and cooperation program.

The United States Institute of Peace Act, passed by the Congress and signed into law in 1984, established the Institute as a publicly funded national institution chartered to "serve the American people and the federal government through the widest possible range of education and training, basic and applied research opportunities, and peace information services on the means to promote international peace and the resolution of conflicts among the nations and peoples of the world without recourse to violence."

Access - United Nations (UN) New YorkI will manage positive outreach at the United Nations on behalf of Sri Lanka. I have inside contacts which places me in a unique position to promote the value proposition of your country from within the UN.

My close network of associates includes members of the ECOSOC Council and WAFUNIF (World Association of UN Interns and Fellows). Because of those associates and inside contacts I have access to and can influence targeted members of the United Nations.

Because of my association with the World Peace Foundation (Festival) I can gain access to Ban Ki-moon the Secretary General of the United Nations.

Case Studies - Global Peace Festival. Washington, DC

I was an organizer, manager and raised funds for the highly successful Global Peace Festival (GPF) in Washington, DC and will implement a GPF in Sri Lanka. The Global Peace Festival (GPF) is an international non-sectarian organization which promotes peace building guided by the vision of one family under God. GPF operates in 13 countries around the globe including Brazil, India, Malaysia, Kenya, Nigeria, Nepal,Paraguay, and Uganda.

Case Studies - YFWP / International Communications Plan / Videos

Augur wrote and managed the 12 month long strategic marketing plan for the Youth Federation for World Peace headquartered in Washington, DC and 13 global chapters.

I also developed the YFWP website and their social media presence as well as a search engine optimization (SMO / SEO) campaign which included video posts in social media.

We also managed a successful $10,000 a month online paid advertisement which landed top results in several categories including Middle East Peace, Track II Diplomacy.

My team is famous for ‘fly pack production’ and are perhaps the only production team in the world who has the experience to manage 20 live broadcasts in 20 days with a global distribution reach.

The production crew is only available until February 1st when they launch another campaign in China where they will manage their second multi-city engagement.
