PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Scope of Works

Woodlea Estate is situated in Rockbank, located 29kms from Melbourne's CBD. It spans over 711 hectares and is

estimated to accommodate for approximately 20,000 plus residents.

Within the Woodlea vicinity there are shops, schools, train station, trails, wetlands etc. The final vision for Woodlea

includes a prominent sporting facility. Which comprises of an Australian Rules football oval, cricket and soccer fields

and tennis and netball courts.

Great efforts have been made to nurture and protect local wildlife as it is a major part of Woodlea, especially the

Deanside Wetlands and Koroit Creek corridor. Specialist care, covering everything from biodiversity and planning

controls to trail and recreation. The environment also plays a major role in the plans for the community. Woodlea is

an Enviro-development accredited community that meets stringent standards thus creating minimal impact on the

environment.

Winslow was awarded the project in December 2014, with construction starting in early 2015. Winslow is currently

constructing stages 1 & 2. Environmental Management is a challenge faced at the present time, where strategies

have been implemented to overcome this challenge. The rapport with Spiire is constantly developing with Winslow

being awarded stages 3 & 4.
