• Liberty is scheduled to play 15 homegames for the first time since the 1997-98season. That year, the Lady Flames went15-0 at the Vines Center and took a perfect28-0 record into the NCAA Tournament.

• The Lady Flames have five straight homegames scheduled between Jan. 5 and Jan.18, Liberty’s longest homestand since2005-06.

• Liberty could play as many as five teamswhich competed in the postseason in2008-09, including a trio of NCAA Tourna-ment qualifiers (Auburn, North CarolinaA&T and Virginia) and two WNIT partici-pants (James Madison and Winthrop).

• The Lady Flames will face three oppo-nents for the first time in program historythis season—Lafayette, North CarolinaCentral and Tulane.

• On Dec. 28-29, Liberty will return to Vir-ginia’s John Paul Jones Arena for the firsttime since Nov. 20, 2006. That evening, theLady Flames became the first visiting teamever to win in the Cavaliers’ new state-of-the-art facility.
