Winter at Tintswalo Safari Lodge is a magical time of year. Guests wake up at the crack of dawn for an early morning
game, in open-air vehicles that are fully equipped with blankets and hot water bottles. At some point along the crisp,
fresh drive, the guides stop at a special place with a view, for hot chocolate, coffee or tea, offering a truly warming and
soul soothing experience.
Winter in the bush is magical
During winter, game viewing is at its absolute best. The bushveld is significantly more open as a result of the dry
weather, with bare trees and lower grass, causing animals to migrate towards watering holes in search of water. Visibility
of game is exceptionally heightened and guests are privy to active wildlife and unbeatable animal sightings.

The lodge is equipped with fire places, heaters, blankets and cosy couches for guests to stay warm. Cuisine, like freshly
