Es gab einmal eine Zeit, in der Elektrizität im Automobil vornehmlich nur für Zündung und Beleuchtung notwendig war. Heute sind PKW, LKW und selbst landwirtschaftliche Maschinen wie Traktoren mit komplexen elektrischen, elektronischen und nichtelektrischen Systemen (z. B. Lichtwellenleiter) aus-gestattet. Die Prüfung von Motormanagement, Bordcomputern, Assistenzsy-stemen etc. erfordert entsprechend hoch entwickelte Technik. Once upon a time…electricity in a car only was necessary for the headlights and ignition. Nowadays automobiles, trucks and even agricultural machineries like tractors are equipped with complex electrical systems. Testing of the enginemanagement, on-board computer, GPS etc. requires sophisticated technology. Our solutions fulfill this demand and cover all possible application ranges. This can mean everything from a “simple” test of a harness up to the functional check of complex subsystems like dashboards. Testsysteme für die BahnindustrieTest systems for Transportation Industry

Strom ist der bevorzugte „Treibstoff“ für moderne Schienenfahrzeuge. Um die teilweise hunderte Tonnen schweren Fahrzeuge zu beschleunigen, braucht es enorme Spannungen. Das stellt an die elektrischen Antriebssysteme höchste Anforderungen. Und natürlich auch an Bauteile wie Leitstände, Schaltschrän-ke, Verdrahtungen etc. Wenn hier Fehler auftreten, kann das lebensgefähr-liche Störungen zur Folge haben. Alle unsere Testsysteme sind auf diese besonderen Umstände eingestellt. Funktionstests mit Nennspannungen oder Isolationstests bis 5000 VDC sind beispielsweise kein Problem.

Electrical power is the energy source for modern trains and tremendous high voltage is needed to accelerate these giants. Therefore the electrical powertrain system is specified under very tough and tight technical requirements as well as all modules like central control station, switching cabinets, wiring, etc. A technical failure in one of these components or the system is highly dangerous and could create a life-threatening situation. All of our High Voltage test systems are built to work in this kind of environment. For instance functional tests with a nominal voltage or isolation test up to 5000 VDC are easily achieved.

Wenn Straßen- oder Schienenfahrzeuge eine Betriebsstörung haben, bleiben sie im Zweifel einfach stehen. Bei einem Luftfahrzeug sieht das ganz anders aus. Sicherheit ist hier also naturgemäß von noch größerer Bedeutung als bei allen anderen Fahrzeugen. Diese zu gewährleisten ist allerdings eine besondere Herausforderung. Der Umfang und die Komplexität der Systeme von Luft- und Raumfahrzeugen sind enorm und umfassen leicht mehrere zehntausend Leitungen. Unsere Testsysteme ermöglichen dennoch ebenso schnelle wie präzise Prüfungen des gesamten Flugzeugs. If a car or a train has an operational issue means, in worst case, the vehicle will just stop. When dealing with an airplane this is totally different. Safety in aerospace is by definition crucial and much more important than anywhere else. It is very challenging to ensure this day by day. The complexity of modern systems in the aerospace industry is huge. For instance, the wiring system could be built with several ten thousands of wires. For these kinds of challenging applications the WEETECH test systems will enable the manufacturer to apply a fast and accurate test of the entire plane. This is possible due to the modular concept of our test system which is the foundation for an easy adaption to any kind of test.
