Women of Mt. Calvary,

To God be the glory….GREAT things He has done and is doing. Truly as we have seen and witnessedin our own lives and the lives of the sisters around us, theamazingly remarkable women of God of all ages from all walks of life and with all kinds of stories aboutthe Lord has done in our lives. We have just finished a wonderful women’s conference that was aspiritual success and if we have learned no other lesson from that gathering it istelling our story!

Every sister has a story to tell; a story about what God has done in you…. and through you….. becauseof you and even in spite of you…so tellbecause of the details of your destiny in the making. Remember it is not how you start, but how you endof that truly matters. This is why the Word of God in Psalm 107:2 admonishes and reminds usredeemed of the Lord say so! If you claim Jesus asprice, cleared with the payments of Jesus’ life; recovered from a life of sin and shame therefore you havethe eternal right to SAY SO! Tell your story because your story may very well be the catalyst to ansister’s redemption; it may be the lynchpin that helps another woman hold on until she can see her waythrough to victory.

On this Women’s Day 2012, celebrate your sisters, celebrate yourselves and celebrate your God. Youmay not be where you want to be, but thank God you are not where you used to be. You have growneven from where you were yesterday to how the Lord has blessed you to see today. Share a part ofyourself with someone else and open your heart to receive what another sister may have tyou. It may just be the blessing that you have been looking for. We serve an amazingly powerful Godwho is not just a very present help in trouble, He is a very present Savior for our every need and desire. So, let the redeemed of the Lord say Amen, Alleluia, thank you Jesus, God be praised ~ and tell it likeyou feel it to honor and glory of Almighty God.

Worshipping Him with My Witness,

Women’s Day Litany

Drawn from Psalm 107:1-9 - New Living Translation (NLT)

Leader: Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love never runs out! Lord youredeem us with your everlasting love and power.

People: Lord, you take all the broken and missing pieces in our lives and put themtogether again. Lord, we are victorious in You!

Leader: Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story. We cried out to the Lord in ourtrouble, and He delivered us from our distress; He satisfied our thirst and filled ourhungry with good things. Lord, we declare that we are redeemed and we open the doorfor you to move on our behalf.

People: We shall forever be thankful and sing praises to You for your marvelous deeds, mercy and grace.

Leader: Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story. Oh how we thank you Lord, youhave freed us to live for you and to show the world your love as we love each other.

People: Lord, we affirm the truth of your Holy Word and speak your promises in ourlives. We will tell of your faithfulness through all generations of your unconditional loveand your amazing grace.

Leader: Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story. We thank you Lord fordeliverance; the thankfulness of the Lord shall continually be on our lips.

All: Dear Jesus, we thank you for keeping us in our valleys and redeeming our soulsand our lives. We are the redeemed of the Lord, and we will tell our story to bless andencourage someone and we give You all the Glory and Praise. - AMEN!

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. For he has gathered the exiles frommany lands, from east and west, from north and south. Some wandered in the wilderness, lost andhomeless. Hungry and thirsty, they nearly died. “LORD, help!” they cried in their trouble, and he rescuedthem from their distress. He led them straight to safety, to a city where they could live. Let them praise theLORD for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. For he satisfies the thirsty andfills the hungry with good things. Psalm 107:1-9 (NLT)

MMiinniissttrryy FFooccuussAcceptance

Ephesians 1:3 – 7

We are a church family of acceptance, welcoming all people to come and be a part of the family ofGod. We honor the Spirit of Christ, active in every believer, and accept all individuals as instrumentsof God’s love.

Acceptance starts with Jesus Christ, and it is the road map for accepting our Christianbrothers and sisters. It is not based on the "Like Me" syndrome: we accept ourChristian brothers and sisters as they are, and it is Christ who will transform us intohow he wants us to be.

To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in theBeloved. (Ephesians 1:6KJV)

Acceptance. It’s a beautiful word, one that speaks deeply to our hearts. Acceptanceis one of the greatest blessings that God gives to His children, and so it’s important forus to understand the nature of God’s acceptance and then to rejoice in it.What is it to be accepted by God? The Greek word used in the above Bible verseis charitoo, which roughly translates “to make graceful”. To really understand what thatmeans, you first have to go to the definition of the root word charis, which means “thatwhich affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, charm, loveliness”. Next, you have tosee that we are charitoo, made accepted, “in the beloved,” that is, in Christ. Putting itall together, the verse means that God looks at us and it gives Him joy, pleasure, &delight because He sees the charm and loveliness of His Beloved Son, of Jesus, inus. That is absolutely dazzling to me, realizing that God has joy when He looks at me(at me!), because of Christ.

FROM THE EVANGELISM MINISTRY

Excerpts from “The Evidence Bible” by Bridge-Logos Publishers

How to Witness to Family Members (by Ray Comfort):

Here’s some advice that may save you a great deal of grief. As a new Christian, I didalmost irreparable damage by acting like a wild bull in a crystal showroom. I bullied mymom, my dad, and many of my friends into making a “decision for Christ.” I wassincere, zealous, loving, kind, and stupid. I didn’t understand that salvation doesn’tcome through making a “decision,” but through repentance, and repentance is God-given (2 Timothy 2:25). The Bible teaches that no one can come to the Son unless theFather “draws” him (John 6:44). If you are able to get a “decision”, but the person hasno conviction of sin, you will almost certainly end up with a stillborn on your hands.

In my “zeal without knowledge” I actually inoculated the very ones I was so desperatelytrying to reach. There is nothing more important to you than the salvation of your lovedones, and you don’t want to blow it. If you do, you may find that you don’t have asecond chance. Fervently pray for them, thanking God for their salvation. Let themsee your faith. Let them feel your kindness, your genuine love, and your gentleness.Buy gifts for no reason. Do chores when you are not asked to. Go the extra mile. Putyourself in their position. You know that you have found everlasting life—death haslost its sting! Your joy is unspeakable. But as far as they are concerned, you’ve beenbrainwashed and have become part of a weird sect. So your loving actions will speakmore loudly than ten thousand eloquent sermons.

For this reason, you should avoid verbal confrontation until you have knowledge thatwill guide your zeal. Pray for wisdom and sensitivity to God’s timing. You may haveonly one shot, so make it count. Keep your cool. If you don’t, you may end up with alifetime of regret. Believe me, it is better to hear a loved one or a close friend say, “Tellme about your faith in Jesus Christ”, rather than you saying, ‘Sit down, I want to talk toyou”. Continue to persevere in prayer for them, that God would open their eyes to thetruth.

The Evangelism Ministry Team Meetings are open to all. Our next meeting willbe May 24, 2012.

Celebration of Giving LitanyMINISTER:It is now time for us to share in giving. Why do we give?

CONGREGATION:We give because all we have comes from God. According to Deuteronomy 8:18, it isGod who gives us the power to get wealth.

MINISTER:Why do we give?

CONGREGATION:We give because God commands us. Malachi 3:10 states that we are to bring the fulltithe into God’s storehouse.

MINISTER:Why do we give?

CONGREGATION:We give because God said in Luke 6:38, to give and He would give back to us a moreabundant blessing.

MINISTER:Why do we give?

CONGREGATION:We give because 2 Corinthians 9:7 states that God loves a cheerful giver.

ALL: Thank you Lord, for the privilege of giving. We are excited about paying the titheand giving the offering. We know that you are faithful to your promises. Therefore, wetrust you in faith to do what you have said. AMEN!
