AutoCorrectDetects and corrects typos, misspelled words, grammatical

errors, and incorrect capitalization

• AutoCorrect Now uses the spelling checker’s main dictionary!

• Add an AutoCorrect entry

• Add exceptions to prevent unwanted spelling corrections

Adding an AutoCorrect entry

1. [Tools| AutoCorrect Options]

2. In the Replace box, type the word that is misspelled often in its misspelled format.

3. Then, type the correct spelling in the With Box

4. Click Add.

AutoFormating

• AutoFormat as you type– Word XP is intelligent. It can detect certain

formatting as you type and automatically and dates, numbered lists, fractions etc.

– Create *Bold* , _Underline_ , and tables +---+----+ , as you type!

•AutoFormat your finished document
