Word wrap: a feature in word processors which causes the insertion point to automatically jump down to the beginning of the next line when you reach the right margin of the current line Slide 2 Click inside the blank document window to start typing. Hold down the Shift key to type uppercase letters. Press the spacebar to leave a space between words. The insertion point shows where the next character you type will appear. Slide 3 Click the left margin to select one line of text. To select text by dragging, move the insertion point to the beginning of the text that you want to select, then hold down the left mouse button while you drag over the text you want to select. Double click a word to select it. On the Home tab, click Editing, Select, then Select All to select the entire document Double-click the left margin to select an entire paragraph. Slide 4 1. To move text, select the text that you want to move. 2. Click the Cut button (scissors) in the Clipboard group to cut the text out of the document and place it on the Clipboard. 3. Position the insertion point in the document where you want to insert the text from the Clipboard. 4. Click the Paste button in the Clipboard group to paste text from the Clipboard into the document at the insertion point location. Slide 5 1. Click the Undo button to undo the last action. 2. Click the Undo button again to undo the action before that. 3. If you change your mind, click the Redo button to redo the last action.
