Work permit in Thailand: A detailed inside view

Working in the south East Asian country is dream come true for many people who enjoy the

ambience and the lifestyle in an impeccable manner. It is a well known fact that there are many

Promoters of the company should be individuals and they should get the organization registered

with the government of Thailand.

There should be at least one shareholder in the company prior to the start of the registration

procedure. Shares can be transferred to third parties without any restriction. It is important to hire

Before registration all the shares of the company should be subscribed and statutory meeting is to

be held on a regular basis. Moreover, the business of the company must be handed over to the

directors. There can be one or more employees in the organization that needs to be registered. If

the company registration is public limited, it should register with the memorandum of

understanding association before proceeding ahead.

The private company has to submit the documents to the department of the business development

however if the company is located outside the capital city of Bangkok it should forward

registration application to the Provincial business development corporation. Some of the

information included in the documents should be Tax id and also the VAT certificate number.

Once the information is complete, it is required to be sent to Social security office in Bangkok.
