Movement is a key element to connecting the mind, body, and spirit. The more we can shift from static to active practice, the more embodied our magick and other metaphysical experiences become. In this ritual-meets-workshop, we'll focus on how to incorporate dance elements into your practice regardless of age, ability, experience, or tradition, using the metaphorical cauldron as our guide. LIVE MUSIC provided by The Mechanist & The Star Goddess (Nathaniel Johnstone and Davis Petterson). The workshop will be immediately followed by a live, improvised performance (workshop price includes this special event!)
About the Author:
Laura Tempest Zakroff can be described as a professional artist, author, dancer, designer, muse, mythpunk, teacher, and witch. She holds a BFA from RISD (The Rhode Island of Design) and her artwork has received awards and honors worldwide. Her work embodies myth and the esoteric through her drawings and paintings, jewelry, talismans, and other designs. As Tempest, she has been a major pioneer of
fusion bellydance for over fifteen years. Her fascination with sacred and ritual dance lead her to bellydance, and she strives to help others connect mind, body, and spirit through movement.
Laura has been a practicing Modern Traditional Witch for over two decades and revels in the intersection of her various paths with witchcraft. She blogs for Patheos as A Modern Traditional Witch, Witches & Pagans as Fine Art Witchery, and contributes to The Witches' Almanac. The Witch's Cauldron is her first book, with a second book on sigil witchery due out in 2018. Laura resides in Seattle, Washington, with her partner Nathaniel Johnstone and at least three cats. Join Psychic and Medium Danielle Egnew (ABC, NBC, TNT, Washington Post) for a two-day intensive workshop on working with your own intuitive healing gifts.
Danielle will explain in-depth the principles as well as the history of how energy is transferred for the purposes of healing and intuitive use, as well as break down the physics and applications of how energy moves through the body using sound, touch, healing stones, channeling, and energetic field guidance. Danielle will also work with each participant individually to assess the gifts that participants are equipped with to assist them specifically when applying these gifts by maximizing their own personal spiritual design.
Weekend workshop enrollment fees include study materials as well as healing stones and cleansing tinctures to be used in the workshop. Participants receive a certificate of completion for the weekend healing intensive from Danielle Egnew's Call To Light Academy, a healing and spiritual guidance learning sanctuary.
Enrollment is $150.00 . Participation is limited to 20 students for the best hands-on experience. Registration ends Saturday July 8th in order to prepare all materials. Cloudwalk - Live In Concert Improvisational Electronic Ambient Space Music - Fri. July 21st 7pm - Free!Join us for a live, improvisational concert with Cloudwalk on Friday, July 21st. Cloudwalk’s new album, "The Forgotten World” will be available! Paul Mehlhaff, the artist behind Cloudwalk, has been creating electronic and ambient journeys in music for over 20 years. Cloudwalk is primarily electronic and ambient music, with influences from classic new age and space music of the 70's and 80's, as heard from Paul Mehlhaff's great love of synthesizers. In addition, with his eclectic style, you may also hear references to Berlin School and electronic soundtrack music. A majority of his compositions are recorded as live improvisations without any overdubbing, and very little musical editing, making it music of the moment.
