SHARM EL-SHEIKH

Egypt produces the world’s finest cottons and Sharm El-Sheikh is a great conference venue. The underwater wonders of the Red Sea attract flocks of diving and snorkelling enthusiasts each year.

The crystal-clear waters and incredible variety of exotic fish darting in and out of the colorful coral reefs have made this a scuba-diving paradise. Sharm El-Sheikh devotes itself solely to sun-and-sea holidays, offering a family-friendly vibe and resort comforts, with world-class diving thrown in.

EGYPT - THE CRADLE OF CIVILIZATIONS

Egypt is one of the oldest civilizations in human history. Its archeological record is one of the longest known, dating back to 3110 B.C. when the ancient kingdoms of Upper and Lower Egypt were united by Pharaoh (King) Menes, who founded the first in a long array of dynasties.

The ancient Egyptians used the Nile river to develop prosperous agriculture where they successfully grew numerous crops including wheat for food and flax for clothes. They also perfected the extraction of flax fibers from the plant stalks and their processing into fine yarns and linen fabrics.
