ประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (AEC) ในป 2558 จะทําใหสมาชิกสมาคมอาเซียนทั้ง 10 ประเทศรวมตัวกันพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ ความมั่นคง และอีกหลายภาคสวน โดยเฉพาะการศึกษาดวย ซึ่งการพัฒนามาตรฐานของการศึกษาน้ัน ทุกสวนตองผสานความรวมมือ ทั้ง อาจารย นักเรียน บุคลากร ระบบการศึกษา การวิจัย หลักสูตร การประเมินผล รวมถึงการนําเทคโนโลยีทันสมัยไปประยุกตใชในการเรียนการสอน โดยการเตรียมความพรอมในเรื่ องสื่ อการเรียนการสอน จึงเปนหน่ึงในพ้ืนฐานสําคัญสําหรับการพัฒนาเพื่ อยกระดับการศึกษาแหงอาเซียน ดังนั้น AEC จะทําใหความรวมมือระหวางภูมิภาคแข็งแกรงขึ้น และสรางโอกาสมากมายอยางที่ ไมเคยมีมากอนใหกับเจาของเทคโนโลยีสื่ อการเรียนการสอน ในการเขาถึงเวทีธุรกิจที่มีประชากรรวมมากกวา 600 ลานคน และมีจีดีพีรวมกันสูงกวา 2 ลานลานเหรียญสหรัฐฯ (60 ลานลานบาท)

The implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 will bring all 10 member countries of ASEAN to join together and form to enhance the collective economy, security, and other sectors, especially education. To improve education’s standard, it requires the collaboration of every part, including instructors, students, educators, educational system, research, curriculum, evaluation, and applying innovative technology in a learning process. And educational material’s preparation is one of significant factors to enhance ASEAN’s educational level. Therefore, the upcoming of the AEC would annihilate regional borders and open up unprecedented opportunities for educational technology and material providers to reach more than 600 million people with an accumulated GDP of higher than USD 2 trillion.

ความรวมมืออยางใกลชิดดานการศึกษาและการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษยจะชวยใหประชาชนของอาเซียนมีศักยภาพ และเสริมสรางใหประชาคมอาเซียนมีความแข็งแกรง ดังนั้น เพื่ อสงเสริมการศึกษาการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในภูมิภาค “งานประชุมผูนําดานการศึกษาแหงเอเชีย ครั้งที่ 5” (Asia Education Leaders Forum) ภายใตแนวคิด ‘Southeast Asia Education, Working Together for Sustainable Future’ จะถูกจัดขึ้นรวมกับงาน เวิลดไดแด็ค เอเชีย 2013 ซึ่งจะอัดแนน และเต็มเปยมดวยเนื้อหาสาระและวิสัยทัศน จากผูเช่ียวชาญดานการศึกษาหลากหลายสาขาระดับโลก

เพื่อพัฒนาการศึกษาของภูมิภาคอาเซียนให้ก้าวหน้าอย่างต่อเนื่องและมั่นคง เวิลดไดแด็ค เอเชีย 2013 งานแสดงวัสดุ อุปกรณ สื่ อ เทคโนโลยี และบริการ สําหรับการเรียนการสอนและการฝกอบรมที่ ใหญที่สุดในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต พรอมเปนเวทีทรงประสิทธิภาพใหกับ 120 ผูแสดงสินคา จาก 25 ประเทศ เพื่ อนําเสนอนวัตกรรมการศึกษาใหมแกผูเขาชมงานจากทั่วภูมิภาคอาเซียน รวมถึงยังเปนแหลงรวมตัวของนักการศึกษาภูมิภาค เพื่ อขยายเครือขายทางการศึกษา แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นและพัฒนาความรวมมือดานการศึกษาอาเซียน โดยงานจะจัดขึ้นระหวางวันที่ 9-11 ตุลาคม 2556 ณ ศูนยการประชุมแหงชาติสิริกิติ์

A closer cooperation in education and human resource development will empower the people of ASEAN and strengthen the ASEAN Community. Therefore, in order to promote the sustainable development education in the region, the 5th edition of Asia Education Leaders Forum (AELF), under the theme ‘Southeast Asia Education, Working Together for Sustainable Future’ will be co-located with Worlddidac Asia 2013. The forum will be enriched with cutting edge knowledge from world-class education gurus from a diverse field of education.

To develop ASEAN’s education for sustainable growth, Worlddidac Asia 2013, ASEAN’s largest trade exhibition on educational & training materials, media, technologies, and services, will be an effective platform for 120 leading education providers, from 25 countries to present innovative educational media and materials to visitors across the region. It also will be a meeting place of regional educators to expand networks, exchange ideas, and improve educational collaboration. The exhibition will be held from 9 – 11 October 2013 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
