Worship John 4:21-24

I. Worship centers on God. (Psalm 29:2, 95:6-7, 96:7-9, Matthew 4:8-10, Hebrews 1:13, Jeremiah 29:13-14, Amos 5:4)

II. Worship is engaged in one’s spirit.

-Can you say in your spirit you are earnestly seeking God? (Isaiah 26:8-9)

-Have you experienced a broken and contrite spirit? (Psalm 51:16-17, Hosea 6:1, Romans 8:9-11)

III. Worship is grounded in truth.

-Truth starts with Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)

-Truth is discovered in God’s word (Psalm 119:160, John 8:31-32)

God is actively seeking people to worship Him.
