1980 R&D project "Cycle friendly Detmold" (until 1986) – development of fundamental planning standards which still apply today
1982 Traffic calming measures in Alsdorf-Alt Busch – awarded a special prize in the competition "Quiet living - safe streets"
1983 R&D project concerning traffic calming: "Usage of residential road and kerbside areas" (until 1989) – accompanying research in 6 model towns
1985 R&D project for the federal department of environment "Planning recommendations for environmentally sustainable traffic calming measures" (until 1988)
1988 R&D project "Cycle friendly Gladbeck" (until 1992) –awarded a prize in the ADAC-town competition 1993
1989 Redevelopment company of the large housing estate in the Köln-Chorweiler district (GfS Ltd, until 1996) – 1999 Special achievement in the competition "Sustainable town development“
1995 "R&D project concerning environmentally friendly transport" in the town of Neuruppin
