Getting started with XMReality only takes three steps

In order to use XMReality, you need to first have an account on a Domain, which is granted by a Domain Administrator.

Domain Administrator accounts are given to your organization by XMReality. Your Domain Administrator can either invite you to their domain by email, or create the account directly for you.

If your Domain Administrator has created an account for you manually (and given you a password), you can skip directly to downloading and installing XMReality 6.

Create an Account

Join — If you’ve received an invitation e-mail, click the Join Now button to open a web browser and create your account.

Enter credentials — In the page that pops up, enter your full name, select a password, and click Create Account.

Account created — If your account was successfully created, you will be shown a green checkmark, and be directed to download the software or go to the login page.

Windows Installation

Click below to download and run the XMReality 6 installation file. Please note that the application is supported on the following versions of Windows:

Windows 7 (SP1) 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit, Windows 10 64-bit

If you are using the Windows version together with XMReality PointPad, XMReality Smart Glasses RG15, RG15H or RG16, you will also need to install the uEye camera driver, which is found at https://xmreality.com/downloads.

When installing the uEye camera driver it is important that you select option 3 - usb from the lists of installation types.

Installation requires administrator privileges and that .NET 4.6 is present. For N and KN versions of Windows you may need to install Media Feature Pack from Microsoft in order to run the application.

After starting the XMReality 6 app, you sign in to your Domain by typing in the Domain name, your e-mail and password, and then tapping Log In.

Advanced

If you are behind a firewall that requires specific proxy settings, you can set a proxy under Advanced. By default, the system settings are used. The proxy can also be configured manually or turned off. If your company uses a server configuration different from the default, you can also configure that in the Advanced menu.
