WEAKNESS

• Employees show reluctance to solve quickly.• Customers waiting period is long when

compared to private banks.• It lags modernization.

OPPORTUNITIES

• Merger of associated banks with SBI.• Few of its operations is modernised and scope

of using advanced technologies.• Young and talented pool of graduates.

THREATS

• Customers switch over to private service providers.

• SBI involves stringent verification procedures and take long time for processing.
