Post: #Apeejay #Institute #Ramamandi #Jalandhar organized a competition named 'Logic Testing'. The
participants were given a problem for which they had to develop a program using their software development
skills. Students from MCA, BCA and B.Tech streams participated in the event. The team of Mandeep Singh
and Neha Rall from MCA Semester V were adjudged as the winners of the event while the runners-up were the
team of Rangesh and Sarabjit Singh from MCA Semester V.

V bagged first position. While the team comprised of Charanjit Singh and Rashmi Jain of MCA V stood Second
in the competition. The event was coordinated by Mr. Rohit Verma and Mr. Daljeet Singh Matharu, Assistant
Professor(s) in School of Information Technology.

Post: In an endeavour to promote and test the financial knowledge of the students, the Finance Club of AIMTC
conducted a Finance Quiz Competition for the MBA students, Finquiz 2018 on October 11, 2018.The students
participated with great enthusiasm comprising 14 teams. Shriya Gupta, Shivani, Shivek Chawla and Shorya
bagged the first prize followed by Sukhdeep Singh, Sudhanshu Nagpal, Supriya and Sukhvir Kaur, who stood
second in the competition

Post: EDC Department of AIMTC as a part of its initiative of promoting Pradhan Mantri Yuva Yojna Scheme
(#PMYY) organized an event today named "One Dollar Venture" in which students had to accumulate profits
with an investment of One Dollar (Rs.70). Students came up with many creative and innovative ideas to earn
money. Students from all courses enthusiastically participated in the event.

Event: Declamation Contest
Date: March 20, 2018
Post: A Declamation Contest was held in the campus in association with NGO Alfa Mahendru Foundation on
the topic of "Save the Girl child". Mr. Arpit Shukla, Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar was the chief guest for
the day. Students of #AIMTC were brilliant in expressing their views on the topic. Rashmi Talwar of BCA was
declared as winner while Karanveer of MCA was second and Mahima Gupta of MBA was third in the
competition.

Post: HR Club of #AIMTC organized Paper Presentation competition on the topic "Emerging Horizons in HR"
in the campus today. Ishpreet & Puneet stood first in the event while Akansha & Riya bagged second position.
Director AIMTC, Dr. Rajesh Bagga along with other faculty members and Dean Ms. Rajan Chaudhary
discussed various emerging HR issues with students.

Post: Information Technology Club of #AIMTC organized "Software Display Competition" today. Various
students of MCA and BCA participated in the event. The students showcased websites, Apps and softwares
designed by them. It included android games, security apps and websites to assist the common man. Dr. Rajesh
Bagga presided over the event as the chief guest. He appreciated the efforts put in by the students and said that
such efforts reaffirm the commitment of #AIMTC in contributing towards making a #Digital #India.The first
prize was bagged by Rangesh of MCA 1 while second prize was bagged by Atul and Palak of MCA 5 and third
prize was bagged by sandeep sondhi of MCA5.

Event: Skillsvilla-2017 (Food Fest & Competition)

Post: Entrepreneurship Development Cell of #AIMTC organized Skillsvilla-2017 (Event-Food Fest) at the
campus on August 23. Over 600 students from all courses participated in various food and game stalls. The
event was full of food, dance, music and fun as students enjoyed to the maximum. The winners will be decided
on the basis of revenue generated by the stalls.

Event: Various Competitions Under Orientation Programme

Post: Under Orientation Program for Newly Admitted Students of #AIMTC, a series of activities are being
scheduled. One of such activity, Treasure Hunt was conducted on July 27 for MBA students.They were given
clues and were asked to solve the riddles and find out the Treasure. At Apeejay, Overall Personality
Development is one of the primary area, for which numerous activities will be arranged in coming semester.

Post: Auditions for Videocon Connect Young Manch season 4 were held at #AIMTC on January 4,2017. The
students showcased their talent in Singing,Dancing and Acting. The shortlisted students will compete in the
Grand Finale to be held at Chandigarh. The winners were awarded certificates for their efforts.

7, 2016. Neeru was declared as the winner of the competition while Kirti and Mehak were declared second and
third. ACP Deepika Singh along with Director Dr. Rajesh Bagga and Mr. Lakhbir Singh of PAHAL NGO gave

Post: On the eve of 70th Independence Day, AIMTC organised Poster Making and Collage Making
Competitions on the theme of Progressive India and Spirit of Freedom. The students made beautiful posters and
collages depicting the milestones achieved by our country- the biggest democracy in the world. They also
showcased the strides taken by our country in different spheres. The event was held on August 12, 2016 in the
campus The results of Poster Making and Collage Making competitions held in the campus on the eve of
Indepedence, Neeru of BCom V bagged first postion in the Poster Making competition. Ishpreet Kaur of MBA
I and Parul Kapoor of MCA I were both adjudged second in the competition. Ramanjot Kaur bagged first
position in Collage Making and Rashmi Talwar of BCA I was adjudged second. Congratulations to all the
winners !!

Post: Under Computer Vision Contest, an Intra College IT Quiz was held in the Campus for MCA Students on
March 3, 2015. Total 14 teams participated in the preliminary test and 4 were shortlisted for the final round.
Abhishek Sahijpal and Simerjit Singh of MCA IV won the Quiz. Pooja and Jyotsna of MCA IV were the first
runner up.
