Upon arrival into Auckland, you will be met by an AAT Kings Representative and transferred to the Langham Hotel, Auckland. Tonight we enjoy a Welcome Reception and dine at “Eight” a special and unique dining experience exclusive to the Langham and enjoyed by all our AAT Kings guests.

SAT 14 NOVRotoruaThis morning you will be transferred to the Air New Zealand collaboration centre for a special breakfast and presentation. After breakfast, we enjoy an Auckland City Sightseeing tour, including views of the Harbour Bridge, Viaduct Harbour and Bastian Point. Join us for a journey to Waiheke Island, renowned for its world class wineries, this island has something for everyone. Boasting a thriving local art scene, secluded sandy beaches and a range of adventure activities. We enjoy a wine tasting and platter lunch before returning to Auckland. This afternoon we follow the Waikato River, New Zealand’s longest river into the heart of Middle Earth – and visit Hobbiton. Home of the Hobbits and the scene for the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. Enjoy a guided tour of the movie set followed by dinner and entertainment at the Green Dragon – let AAT Kings transport you to Middle Earth and the world of the Hobbits. Market stalls, food & wine, fire eaters – all part of this exclusive Hobbit experience.Later tonight, we continue to Rotorua and arrive late into our hotel.

SUN 15 NOVLos AngelesStart the day with breakfast hosted by Millennium Hotels & Resorts. Later this morning we enjoy the geo thermal delights of Te Puia as well as exploring the Rainbow Springs Nature Park where you will have a chance to feed local birds and animals and to see our native kiwi bird. Also an opportunity to meet “Kiwi Sam” – AAT Kings own conservation project! Enjoy lunch at the top of the Skyline followed by exciting luge rides to cap our day before continuing through to Auckland International Airport for your flight to America.Welcome to the City of Angels! After checking in at your hotel, spend the afternoon exploring this great city on your own before gathering this evening with your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.

MON 16 NOV Scotsdale Head east today, as the great Sonoran desert opens up before you – keep an eye out for giant Saguaro Cacti. This afternoon, arrive in the desert playground of Scottsdale. The evening is yours to enjoy. Breakfast, Dinner

TUE 17 NOVWilliamsContinue your drive through the Sonoran Desert and arrive at Montezuma Castle National Monument, one of the best preserved cliff dwellings in North America. Take a minute to ponder the Sinagua Indians’ life here in the desert before heading to Sedona in spectacular Red Rock Country. Join in on an adventure with an included jeep ride to get a front row view of the area’s famous red rocks. After a stunning drive through Oak Creek Canyon, arrive in the historic railroad town of Williams—right on old Route 66 and gateway to the Grand Canyon. This evening, join your fellow cowboys and cowgirls for a Be My Guest dinner that features a delicious variety of Arizona wine or craft beer.

WED 18 NOVGrand CanyonThis morning, watch out for the infamous Cataract Creek Gang, as lowly a group of varmints that ever rode the range! Then climb aboard the historic Grand Canyon Railway; pass through majestic Ponderosa Pines, the high desert and the Kaibab National Forest while hearing tall tales and folklore about the area. Keep your eye out for wildlife – it’s not uncommon to spot elk, mule deer and pronghorn antelope sauntering through this wild and woolly region. Nothing can prepare you for the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, more than 1.7 billion years in the making. With a Local Expert, learn how the Grand Canyon was formed and examine rock samples from the colorful sedimentary layers formed as the sea washed in again and again. Join your Travel Director for an unforgettable walk among the rim.

THU 19 NOVLas VegasDepart the Grand Canyon today, stopping in Seligman and Kingman, Route 66 hotspots that have kept the old Mother Road’s culture alive. Arrive at your hotel located on the famed Strip. This evening, join your Travel Director for an exciting night on the town! You’ll be amazed by the brilliant Fremont Street Experience, see countless wedding chapels, and, of course, be awed by the most spectacular collection of casino hotels in the world. There will be plenty of stops along the way to see some of the most extravagant casinos and attractions, each trying to outdo the other. Be prepared for an evening that’s full of surprises!

FRI 20 NOVLas VegasThis morning, depart with your Travel Director to one of the most famous Modern Marvels, the Hoover Dam. View the dam from the newly completed Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, the largest concrete arch bridge in the Western Hemisphere just completed in 2010. Stand 900 feet above the Colorado River and gaze in amazement at the largest dam of its time, that holds back the U.S.’s largest man made reservoir, Lake Mead. Enter the base of Hoover dam on a guided tour and hear the vibrating hums of rushing water and Hydroelectric Turbines. Next, visit one of Las Vegas’ newest attractions, The Mob Museum. This museum showcases both sides of the notorious battle between organized crime and law enforcement. With high-tech theatre presentations, iconic one-of-a-kind artifacts, and interactive exhibits, you can finally discover the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

You’ll see the largest movie set street expansion in Hollywood history built with creative consultation by Steven Spielberg himself, and enjoy heart-pounding rides, shows and attractions that put you inside some of the world’s biggest movies.The evening will continue as you make your way to a secret CityWalk venue to share stories and experiences with our other TTC winners.Breakfast

SUN 22 NOVLos AngelesStart the day at your leisure and enjoy breakfast. You will have free-time in the morning to visit locations of your choice or relax in your room before embarking on a magical evening courtesy of Creative Holidays.

After lunch time, we will depart to experience the ultimate magical kingdom – the majestic Disneyland Park, where you can sail with pirates, explore exotic jungles, meet fairy-tale princesses, dive under the ocean and rocket through the stars—all in the same day!
