A recent tweet from Donald J Trump @realDonaldTrump: “Whether you call it Vote by Mail or Absentee Voting, in Florida the election system is Safe and Secure, Tried and True. Florida’s Voting system has been cleaned up (we defeated Democrats attempts to change it), so in Florida I encourage all to request a Ballot and vote by Mail!#MAGA” I would like to add my support to the President’s message about the security of voting by mail in Florida and Pinellas County in particular. Since the infamous “hanging chad” ballot recount incident in 2000, the state of Florida has put into law many voter integrity safety regulations. Since 1999, Florida has been fortunate to have had Republican governors and majorities in the legislature who have diligently crafted legislation to insure all qualified voters are able to cast ballots for the candidate of their choice. Supervisor of Elections Julie Marcus and her staff are both competent and ethical and take pride in providing voters the fundamental right for which many have fought and died to protect Untoward practices like ballot harvesting are not permitted here. There is no evidence of fraudulent use of mail ballots in Pinellas County. All ballots must be signed and signatures are verified. All eligible ballots are counted, and voters may track their ballots on line at www.votepinellas.com. It is to our advantage for more Republicans to request a mail ballot since a very large percentage of those requested are returned. A ballot in a Republican mailbox is a ballot twice as likely to be cast. I understand some of you have reservations with voting by mail, and I respect that. If you have historically voted by mail, please continue to do as our party and candidates’ strategies thrive off strong Republican vote by mail turnout. I am very happy to announce that the Pinellas GOP will hold the first in person Executive Committee meeting since March on Monday, August 10. Our guest speakers will be the following general election candidates: Larry Ahern for County Commission District 1; Tammy Vasquez for County Commission District 3; Linda Chaney for State House District 69 and Matt Tito for State House District 68. We will comply with the requirements of our host venue and practice social distancing at 50% occupancy and all attendees will be required to wear a mask over the nose and mouth while in the building. Vice Chairman’s Message

As I was sitting in my kitchen enjoying coffee and the beautiful scenery God gave us to enjoy, it dawned on me that our country and we the people have been blessed and that we should not take these blessings and the liberties we enjoy for granted.

Many people believe what we are now experiencing is the end of the world, what with the pandemic, rioting, looting and the questionable economic outlook. I am certain my parents, who survived the Great Depression and two world wars had similar thoughts. They refused to fold.

Let us not allow very questionable polling, mask debates, and other issues to divide us. Our goal is to unite, to work together and not allow President Trump's opponent to sideline the progress we have made as a free country should he be elected.

There are so many different avenues in which to volunteer. Poll watching, handing out ballot recommendations at early voting sites and voter registration are three of the many different volunteer jobs that will help our cause and help to maintain the goal of "Keeping Florida Red"! Call the PCREC

office today to get scheduled. Only we can prevent a liberal takeover of America the beautiful. Let's keep America that "last beacon of hope."

Notes from the

PCREC secretary

In the flux of miss-information during the COVID-19 pandemic is the crucial question of America's freedom. Shackling hands and feet of proponents of medical diagnosis, prevention and cures, the leftist Democrat agenda is constricting the life blood out of America's greatness. Government leaders are cowering while the triple threat of disjunctive representations of the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and the National Institutes of Health continue their campaigns of fear mongering. No one is speaking to America about what we really, really want to know: If this is a disease, what is the cure? How do we mitigate infections and deaths? New studies by Henry Ford Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital corroborate the effectiveness of the age old cures hydroxychloroquine, zinc and azithromycin for patients languishing in the United States. Yet, the pundits of social media platforms and news outlets bellow out statistics that are at best suspect to ignite fear in the hearts of the people. Our national leaders are failing in these areas: 1) Failure to convene hearings to distill divergent

voices across medical, economic and educational platforms; 2) Failure to utilize best practices known from the example of India and the Sub-Saharan regions of Africa has resulted in America having 400-600% higher deaths per million more than these nations; 3) We have failed to protect free market principles, including doctor-patient relationships by threatening physicians who treat with these prescriptions; and governmental pharmacy licensing boards and business restrictions on dispensing; and finally, social media "community banning" of different expert opinions; 4) Failure to protect hard working American businesses from starving and experiencing financial instability through the implementation of mandatory, sometimes arbitrary, closure; and 5) Failure to do cost-benefit analysis resulting in increasing deaths from suicide and drug addiction heightened by stay at home orders.

This is America! All information that could possibly mitigate any infectious disease, like the Coronavirus, belongs in the public forum! "Republicans please stand up. Save our liberty!"

Introducing the Pinellas County Trump Victory Team Hello, everyone. My name is Jay Adams, and I recently arrived in Pinellas County as the new Regional Field Director for the Trump Victory Campaign. Where Pinellas County goes, the state of Florida and the Na-tion will follow. My team and I understand the weight of the opportunity to represent and organize the campaign in such a critical area. We will work tirelessly. The week of July 20, 170 Trump Victory Team members attended a statewide training workshop in Orlando. It was lead by RNC Trainer Quinton Hitchcock and Florida Political Director Kevin Cabrera. Pinellas County has two Field Organizers, Joe Sari and Jonathan Barton and we are actively seeking to hire five additional Field Organizers. Anyone interested in a paid position as Field Organizer, please call me at (612) 876-2393. This election will be won or lost in the field, and President Trump needs our help to win in

November. If you can help us take this fight directly to the voters, please get in touch. Volunteers are the fuel that makes a campaign a success. A few hours each week multiplied by many dedicated volunteers between now and November 3rd will make all the difference.

Please ask yourself, “On November 4, do I want to know that I personally did everything within my power to preserve and protect my country from the tyranny of the Marxists who seek to destroy it?” We will be making phone calls, registering voters and talking with voters door-to-door from now until Election Day in order to get the job done! We now have Trump / Pence 2020 yard signs available at our office—come by and sign up to help us win Pinellas County for the president and pick-up a campaign yard sign.

Thank you to Ron Ogden and John Keller for going to Dade City to pick-up Trump/Pence yard signs for the Pinellas GOP. It was one of those 93, but feels like 100, degrees July Florida days when they made two trips to the warehouse. Once arriving back at Pinellas GOP headquarters, they were aided by Ron Walker and Skylar Alexander to unload and stack 5,000 beautiful signs. They were later joined by James Smith and Mike Hanlon to help finish the job. The Pinellas GOP is very blessed to have these men with “can do” attitudes to step up when we need them.

Ten Ways to Help Republican Candidates Win “A candidate cannot win alone, and a lone candidate cannot win!”

1. INTRODUCE — Make an effort to introduce candidates to friends, family, colleagues. Invite candidates to your civic club, bowling league and block parties and to church, golf, apartment or condo events.

2. HOST A FUNDRAISER — Organize, host, assist and/or attend a fundraiser for candidates.

3. WALK-IT — Offer to go with a candidate door-to-door in your own neighborhood or walk a designated neighborhood on your own.

4. HELP WALKERS — If not able to walk door-to-door, be a driver, dropping off/picking up walkers at designated neighborhoods, bringing them water and extra handouts and providing air conditioned relief.

5. ASSEMBLE — Offer to put together campaign yard signs. Secure sign locations in yards/at shops/stores, and put-up yard signs. Dust-off the post digger and help with big campaign boards.

6. ORGANIZE A SIGN WAVING RALLY — Wave campaign signs at major street intersections and at the Polls on Election Day.

7. VOLUNTEER — Put your expertise to work. Offer to be campaign treasurer, photographer or webmaster. Offer to speak on a candidate’s behalf if speaking events overlap. Research issues and/or help with talking points.

8. PHONE BANK — Make calls promoting a candidate from home using lists and scripts provided by the campaign.

9. DRIVE — Drive a candidate to forums, and meet-and-greets so they can arrive relaxed and prepared.

10. CONTRIBUTE — Donate to candidates’ campaigns via check, cash or in-kind donations.
