The roles we o�erWe deliver our services to our clients through the five parts of our business, which often work in tandem with one another, and are supported by our Corporate Functions. Candidates will join one of the following teams:

• Accenture Strategy, you’ll help clients understand the next Big Thing and their options in the context of global economic, technology and social trends. You’ll operate at the intersection of business and technology as youwork in small teams alongside senior thought leaders in Accenture Strategy, who will help you become a Strategy expert, too. You’ll develop strategic insights by analyzing data and conducting research, and you’ll pull together and present the recommendations to C-suite-level executivesand government leaders. You’ll help solve the biggest and most complex business problems for our clients.

Help identify tomorrow’s opportunities today. When Grupo Globo, the largest media group in Latin America, asked us to identify the emerging technologies most likely to influence their industry, we also outlined the likely impacts those technologies would have and the qualities needed to capitalize on them.

• Accenture Consulting, you’ll transform the world’s leading companies and governments by designing and implementing innovative solutions for their most complex issues. You’ll deliver business value for our clients—for example, you might help them to navigate growth and expansion, manage their compliance and risks, transform their business functions or increasecost e�ciency. Every client and project is unique. Maybe you’ll use visual analytics to help a hotel chain identify opportunities for reducing their energy consumption. Or perhaps you’ll guide a healthcare client in the selection and application of the latest digital technologies. What will remain consistent is the continual coaching you’ll receive from consulting practitioners, who’ll share their insights and help you to build and sustain long-term client relationships.

• Accenture Digital, you’ll improve the customer experience for millions of end users. You’ll improve the way we work and live as you design and implement cutting edge end-to-end digital solutions for businesses and governments around the world. Maybe you’ll help a client disseminate its new training program to 40,000 people, and you’ll design the app and e-learning tool, and shoot the video. You could help one of the FORTUNE® Global 100 use analytics to improve outcomes and achieve high performance. Or maybe you’ll help a healthcare client plan, implement and manage the Internet of Things as part of its operations.

Impact the companies that impact the world, as we did when we helped AGL – Australia’s largest stock-exchange-listed owner, operator and developer of renewable energy – overhaul its digital platform, resulting in cost e�ciencies, and a greatly enhanced customer experience.

• Accenture Technology, you’ll learn about and drive the adoption of New IT, including Digital technologies, Cloud, Intelligent Automation, Liquid Delivery, Liquid Workforce and Agile methodologies. You’ll help solve the most complex technology challenges for our clients, creating custom-designed solutions using leading-edge technologies, or by integrating our Technology Platforms with ourclients’ operations. You’ll leverage alliances withthe world’s leading technology providers andexplore emerging technologies to create innovative technology solutions. Maybe you’ll determine a client’s technology requirements, or help build a client’s system with one of our international teams, test the software and then deploy it, or maybe you’ll be responsible for safeguarding our clients’ most valuable IT assets.

Enable our clients to serve customers better, enter and succeed in new markets, and drive innovation in new products and processes. We collaborate with SAP to redesign their next-generation fashion management solutions, helping Retailers accelerate visibility and integration across retail and wholesale channels.

• Accenture Operations, you’ll help clients transform their technology infrastructures using resources that range from cloud, data centers and workplace to networks, security and managed services. You’ll help them establish and maintain thriving IT ecosystems that bring together multiple stakeholders and multipletechnologies. Or you might pursue a career withAccenture’s industry-leading BPO services, and manage the kinds of operations that can mean the di�erence between a maddening 30 minutes on the phone and a merciful 30 seconds for millions of customers. Accenture Operations is the only organization to bring together infrastructure, cloud, security and businessprocess capabilities with talented people like you.

Training and DevelopmentWe spent US$841 million on the training and professional development of our people in fiscal 2015—delivering 15 million hours of training, at an average of more than 40 hours per employee.  With a focus on digital, we’ve reinvented our approach to learning, enabling our 375,000 people to unleash ideas, drive innovation and develop the highly specialized skills they need to succeed and thrive.

The centerpiece of this investment is Accenture Connected Learning, a blend of classroom-based training and a digital learning environment that links our employees to professional content and world-class experts from inside and outside Accenture.

Accenture Connected Learning has enabled our people—be they data scientists, visual designers, information architects, mortgage processors or any of the diverse skilled professionals within the company—to enrich their professional capabilities, develop the critical skills needed to stay market-relevant and enhance their own career opportunities.

MalcolmPosition: Managing Director

Location: Hong Kong

Department: Technology StrategyAccenture Strategy

1998 I joined Accenture in Australia as a fresh graduate. The first client I worked with was a large Australian telecommunications company. It was an eye-opening experience because I was able to learn about large scale mission critical system delivery up close.

2003 I led a team that developed and sold a lending platform for a major Australian bank. We delivered the solution using a pioneering onshore and o�shore model, which marked a turning point for Accenture. We now have more than 200,000 people in global delivery centers worldwide.

2010 My move increased my exposure from just one country (Australia) to an entire region (Asia-Pacific), since Hong Kong is home to many multinational headquarters. I also started working in China where I worked on many strategy and planning projects, ranging from information technology strategy to mergers and acquisitions. From working in Financial Services, I moved into Technology Consulting as Accenture was setting up its Technology Consulting practice in Greater China. I also led our IT Strategy practice advising the chief information o�cer on the IT Transformation agenda.

2013 I moved into Accenture Strategy. With continuous advancements being made in Digital, Accenture formed its Strategy practice by bringing together IT strategists from Technology Consulting and business strategists from Management Consulting. The end result is a practice that operates at the intersection of business and technology.

From system implementation to Technology Consulting and now Strategy Consulting, my Accenture journey has certainly been a rewarding one. As Accenture continues to invest in the next big thing, it is hard to predict what my role will be in the foreseeable future. However, I have no doubt that there will always be new challenges to face and new roles to play as we move forward.

2000 During the dot.com boom, I was able to architect and implement an online share trading platform for a leading investment bank. Because of my actual project experiences and various trainings, shifting from telecommunications to financial services was not that di�cult. The platform launch was a success and allowed the bank to branch out into the retail financial services market.

2005 After transferring to Accenture in Hong Kong, I was assigned to close a must-win deal in Beijing. Despite the cultural challenges, I was able to quickly adapt and win the deal thanks to the support of the local leadership team. I also was promoted to the position of senior manager.

2012 I was promoted to Managing Director and was able to influence and execute new ideas while continuing to develop great people.

Every time I have been asked what keeps me going at Accenture, I have only one answer —I like what I do! I provide right solutions to my clients to help them with their business challenges. Every project I have worked on has been special and enriching in some way. Sometimes it’s about the people, sometimes the big challenges that push you to achieve your full potential and sometimes it’s both!

Clients engage Accenture to deliver something that they could not have done just by themselves. They acknowledge the value we bring to them through their transformation journey that can change the way their organization functions, making it more profitable and versatile.

Everyone at Accenture—from the more experienced leadership to our fresh talent pool—all work together towards a common goal of delivering high-performance on each and every project.

Jason Position: Management Consultant

It is human nature to seek the optimal solution to every problem.

My challenge after graduating from The University of Chicago was to land a role which stimulates intellectual and emotional growth, satiates my passion for learning, and provides me with the privilege of receiving tutelage from some of the best and brightest minds.

When Accenture’s job o�er arrived, I had no hesitation in pulling out of all other job opportunities to accept it as I believed the firm would give me all I wanted and more.

Two and a half years on, I feel my decision has been vindicated per my experiences with the firm. Take for instance my first project with a life insurer striving to roll out an integrated health and wellness product across Asia Pacific.

My role as a Pricing Analyst placed me in the critical mass of the best people Accenture had to o�er, and allowed me to collaborate with South African, Dutch, Australian, British, and other colleagues from all over the world.

As One Global Network, we delivered exceptional client service with our “can-do” attitude and desire to deliver more than we committed.

This real-life example of “High Performance, Delivered” brings a huge smile to my face every time I reminisce about it. Moving forward, I’m dedicated to continue bringing the best ideas to the client everyday as it excites me to help them achieve their goals.

To do so, I want to continue receiving guidance from the experienced cohorts while working with new minds as they o�er a fresh perspective to the myriads of unsolved problems.

Visa

Accenture Helps Visa Build Connected Car Commerce Proof-of-Concept

Accenture is working with Visa to explore the future of Internet of Things-based commerce by developing a connected car proof-of-concept, which enables customers to order food from the car while on-the-go using cellular connectivity, as well as Bluetooth technology and beacons.  During the project, Accenture has helped Visa develop the applications, integrate several technologies for extracting

information from the car, and build the technical foundation for machine-to-machine commerce based on secure and seamless payment transactions. With the connected-car proof-of-concept, Visa will enhance its on-the-go payments, the next phase of payments, being driven in large part by mobile technology and involves many new players and innovative ways to shop, pay and get paid.

PUMA

Taking e-Commerce to the Next Level for PUMA China PUMA decided that the fastest way to take its e-commerce business in China to the next level was to launch a new store in China’s largest and fastest growing online retailer JD.com. They determined that the best way to do that was to partner with Accenture for comprehensive digital

marketing services, including store design, store build and deployment, store campaign design and execution, and third-party partner management. The PUMA JD e-store was successfully launched in less than three months from project kick-o� until the first item was sold.

Optimizing Large-scale Core Business Processes

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) is one of the largest integrated energy and chemical companies in China. Sinopec aims to optimize its huge core business processes in order to improve its operational performance and reduce costs. The company is eager to accelerate the transformation of its own operation model, shifting from a traditional state-owned enterprise to a market-driven one geared to international standards.

Accenture has assisted Sinopec to build and implement its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which has been launched in over 100 Sinopec’s branches, leading to the restructuring of most business processes and the introduction of global best practices in ERP. The new system has not only enabled Sinopec to reduce costs, but also ensured smooth, timely and more comprehensive flow of information to optimize the management team’s decision making process.
