worldwide. For instance in the

Netherlands we have a dedicated

team of experts focusing

on our valves.

Our R&D facility located in Cranston

is home to state of the art equipment

on the site where Grinnell started

his company in 1881. This unit

develops and exposes sprinklers to

extreme circumstances to

guarantee the maximum

protection to our clients.

for a lot of the major breakthroughs

in the fire protection industry.

As a global company Tyco has

organized its activities worldwide

as efficiently as possible to deliver

clients the maximum performance.

Our R&D centers are located in

knowledge centers worldwide,

whereas our production can be

found on locations where these can

be done according to the highest

standard as well as efficiently

as possible.

One of the best examples to explain

our global sourcing structure is

our valves. Combining our valves

expertise in the Netherlands with

our state of the art Malaysian

production facility allows us to

focus on the products themselves,

resulting in the highest quality

and the maximum fire protection

possible. Thanks to these methods

we are one of the few producers

to have such a broad range of

approvals on our valves. We strive

to ensure that all our products meet

the international approval criteria.

Another example of our structure

is the development (in the US) and

split production (UK & US) of our

sprinklers. By following the highest

US regulations during the sprinkler

development, which is one of the

most strict in the world, our clients

always benefit from the latest and

highest level of protection available.

// Production stage:After a product has been rigorously

tested by all relevant approval

institutes it is ready to be produced

on a larger scale. The products are

then manufactured in one of Tyco’s

production facilities, using the

same strict guidelines to ensure a

standard high product quality.

Again the focus during production

is on following all worldwide

safety and quality norms like ISO

and ANSI. Once our products are

approved, continuous checks are

undertaken to ensure the quality

remains consistent.

We are confident of our superior product quality

therefore we give our customers a standard

limited warranty of 10 years on all products. This

is up to ten times as much as the competition offers.
