ISLAND BRASSERIE S T E A K H O U S E
For centuries, seafaring voyagers left an indelible mark on Bermuda’s cuisine. Trade routes traversed the Atlantic, blending Old World traditions with those of the New
World and West Indies.
Reflecting these rich and diverse culinary influences, the resort’s signature restaurant delivers an island-inspired take on the traditional steak house, placing emphasis on the finest quality of meats, and produce, with time-honoured cooking methods. Drawing from land and sea, locally caught fish, the finest cuts of meat from renowned butcher’s, and fresh seasonal harvests and artisanal products feature prominently on the menu.
Vibrant and informal, the Island Brasserie takes its inspiration from a colonial-style home. Antique brass detailing and Gerard Henderson’s iconic hand-painted murals pay homage to Bermuda’s seafaring heritage. Indoors, the restaurant offers a relaxed and inviting setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outside, a terrace provides captivating views of Harrington Sound during the day and fireside warmth in the evening.

A little piece of Paris in Bermuda tucked down a narrow alleyway. Bolero gives a sense of secrecy, a place that only the locals know about. Realistically priced, good, honest and unpretentious food with friendly, efficient service and a fantastic overall dining experience. The menu is extensive and changes four to five times a year in true brasserie style. Some of our favorite dishes are the snail-and-garlic beignets, mahi mahi with lump crab and fish chowder spiked with Bermuda’s famous Gosling’s Black Seal Rum. It has a relaxed cosmopolitan vibe inside amidst gilt mirrors and vibrant artwork or you can take your meal and a glass of wine al fresco on the harbour-front porch.

Village Pantry in Flatts Village serves up family-friendly farm-to-table, vegan and deliciously healthy international cuisine. The Avocado Crush is not to be missed: it has crushed avocado on toast topped with olive oil, cherry tomatoes and sprouts. Their kids’ menu is really well designed with help from reputable nutritionist, Catherine Burns, owner of the award-winning Nutrition consultancy, Natural Ltd. Concentration is placed on the kids’ menu to make it look fun while also being nutritious. Village Pantry is well known as the best healthy dining restaurant for anyone wishing for a healthy meal that will keep you coming back for more.
Housed inside a 17th-century Bermuda cottage where merchant sailors once lived, this 350-year-old historic location offers warm furnishings with beautiful Windsor chairs in a romantic candlelit dining room. You are going to want to dress up with a more formal attire to truly enjoy the feel and elegance of this graceful restaurant that is nestled dockside on Jew’s Bay. Arrive early and enjoy a cocktail at the outdoor lounge to soak up the historic feelings of this truly decadent steakhouse.

Bermuda’s premier bar and grill, Blu offers an amazing experience from start to finish. With great views of the water and one of our favorite places to view the sunset, it’s sure to not disappoint. It has, diverse menu which in some restaurants can be sign of confusion however, the chefs here at Blu knock it out of the park every single time.
