In HOVIMA HOTELS we are aware that the events related to the COVID-19 and the accelera-ted flow of information that it generates demand an additional effort of transparency, recepti-vity and approachability. In view of the situation caused by the COVID-19 HOVIMA HOTELS has developed a strategy of transformation, following the guidelines and recommendations of the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE) and the specifications UNE 0066-2 Measures for the reduction of the infection by the coronavirus.

We have developed a route sheet, with the advice of Cristal "Check safety First", to intensify the cleaning processes, modifying the spaces to guarantee the safety distance, redesigning, for that purpose, the operative processes.

We have taken into account three objectives: holiday enjoyment, sustainability and prevention of COVID-19.

TRAINING OF OUR STAFF

Ongoing training of all staff in the protocols for action and in food hygiene and health prior to opening. In addition to providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to all staff.

MEDICAL SUPPORT

In HOVIMA HOTELS we have medical support from HOSPITEN for any emer-gency situation.

RISK AND EMERGENCY WORKING GROUP

In HOVIMA HOTELS we have created a work group, professional and proper-ly advised that allows us to respond quickly and effectively to any incidence.

CARING FOR PEOPLE

COMMON AREAS

We have intensified the regular cleaning and disinfection in the contact areas (handrails, elevator buttons, handles,) ...

• Preventive measures have been incorporated at the hotel entrance. • New signage system to inform guests • Installation of protection screens in Reception and Guest area. • 1.5 m safety distance control • Mandatory use of masks in areas where safety distance cannot be maintained. • Widespread use of hydroalcoholic gel dispensers.

ROOMS

We guarantee that your room is a safe space, we have intensified the cleaningand disinfection processes.

• In the departures, we use a nebulizer equipment that achieves a uniform distribution of antimicrobial product, disinfectant viricide reaching all surfaces and areas of more difficult access. • Virucidal products will be used for cleaning and disinfection. • The room cleaning service will be carried out when the client is out of the room. • An exhaustive cleaning will be done especially in any surface with a high level of use. • The blankets and pillows that the client needs will be sealed. • All textiles are washed at a temperature above 60ºC. • The air conditioning comes from individual condensers properly maintained.

SWIMMING POOLS

Continue to enjoy a good swim in our pools. To make this possible, we have adapted by modif-ying the settings so that at all times we maintain the recommended distance between different groups of people.

• The sunbeds will be 1.5 m away. • Our staff will clean and disinfect the sun beds after each use. • At the entrance of the pool our staff will provide you with a clean towel per customer, and when you leave the pool, there will be a trolley where you can leave the dirty towel by the exit.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

All Food and Beverage services will always respect their capacity and safety distance measures.

RESTAURANT (BUFFET)

• There will be an established itinerary • Information sign at the entrance with the rules of access for clients. • Staff will see clients to the assigned table. • The table and chairs will be disinfected after each customer's use. • In the buffet, there will be individual portions for cold dishes and desserts, hot meals will be served by our kitchen staff.

BARS

• The safety distance will be established. • In the evening show, the spaces will be adapted so that customers can enjoy the activities.

MINI CLUB

It's time for fun. That is why we have designed a varied programme adapted to social distancing, with which you can continue to enjoy children's activities with maximum safety. The entertainment service will be offered through a program designed to ensure a safe distance and always trying to do it outdoors, avoiding contact games or sharing objects.

• Our entertainers will wash and sanitize their hands at the beginning and ending of the activities. • In the workshops, classes and performances. Outdoor activities will be encouraged, with the corresponding capacity indicated.
