SPARK LEARN INNOVATE
Inspired by the success of the AIF Clinton
Fellowship Program* that has sent over
300 college graduates to India, AIF is proud
to launch the AIF Youth Ambassador Pro-
gram (AYAP), a service-learning and cultural
awareness program in India for U.S. high-
school students.
Youth Ambassadors are exposed to eco-
nomic, social, and environmental challeng-
es facing vulnerable communities and will
explore frugally innovative, local solutions
to these challenges. AYAP seeks to fosteran awareness of social development in In-
dia through visits with local communities,
Indian peers & schools, leading NGOs, and
the private sector. Youth Ambassadors will
engage with Indian peers to build relation-
ships and work together to come up with
solutions to local problems.
AYAP envisions igniting the spark in high
school students to set them on a path to-wards global citizenship. AYAP seeks to
develop leadership and entrepreneurship
skills as well as global awareness for par-
ticipants. AYAP will also enable opportuni-
ties for continued collaboration with AIF, its
programs and communities served.
*The Clinton Fellowship is a leadership program for highlyskilled young professionals working high impact NGOs
and social enterprises across India. Fellows work for 10months on scalable and sustainable projects in the fieldsof education, livelihoods, public health, and human rights .
