Yvette's lessons are planned well and there is evidence that she is aware of current research and best practices. The lessons are aligned with the state curriculum and are created using many
various learning resources. She is very knowledgeable and comfortable with the content taught. She is aware of the diversity within her classroom and works diligently to meet those needs. Through ongoing formative and summative evaluations she is able to meet the specific needs of her students.

Yvette helps to create a learning environment which is conducive to learning. The climate is supportive of learning styles and warm and inviting. She monitors student behaviors and addresses needs as they arise. She is open to suggestions for improving behavior and actively seeks out strategies.

It is clearly shown through Yvette's comfort in the classroom and the love shown by her students that she has the heart of a teacher. She works hard to improve the learning environment and utilizes varied learning instructional tools. Each student feels as though they are important and treated in a kind and loving way. It is through her preparation, organization and management of her lessons that she is able to achieve the goals she has for her students in the classroom. The lessons I have observed have been hands-on driven and very engaging. Her various teaching styles meet all of her learner’s needs. She utilized technology to enhance the lessons and keep the students engaged.

Yvette, is very professional and definitely a team player. She is very aware of her responsibilities and is more than eager to achieve excellence in this area. She enjoys working with the other teachers on grade-level and throughout the school. She is a very hard worker and wants to strive to do her very best and is well liked by the faculty. She is a wonderful teacher and would be an asset to any school. Her students will greatly benefit from her professionalism, commitment and loving personality. I would highly recommend Yvette for a position as a Special Education teacher in any environment.
Areas of Strength:
Yvette has many strengths. She is very professional, warm and loving. It is clearly evident that she loves her students and strives to give them the very best every day! She is always prepared and takes care in planning engaging lessons. Through her experience, she is very up-to-date with the laws in place for special education students. She is a teacher who any school would love to have on their faculty.

I have truly enjoyed getting to know Yvette and working with her during this semester. She is going to be an amazing teacher and touch many lives throughout her career!
