Zen 3D Massage Chair Selling Process

1. Opening comment to the consumer: This is our 3-D Zero Gravity Massage Chair. Just try it out and I will explain what that means.

2. Tell the consumer: Remove shoes, jewelry, and heavy clothing (coats, etc.)

3. Briefly explain the controls: Red button to power on. Pre-Programmed massage sessions are available. Any recline position, including Zero Gravity, is available.

4. Press The Zero Gravity Button. Explain to the consumer that they are now going in to the Zero Gravity Position.

5. Press the “Demo” Button: Demo mode is a 5 minute demonstration of all of the chairs features. Once the demo button is pressed, the EC-618 begins to scan your body. Explain to the consumer that the chair is scanning their body to deliver a customized massage, based on their body mass, height, and the curvature of their spine.

It takes 60 seconds for the EC-618 to complete the body scan. During this minute, explain that Zero Gravity is “feet above your heart”, which is the human body's most neutral position, stress free position. Next, explain “3-D”. 3D simply means that the rollers move in all 3 dimensions; up and down your back, left to right, and in/out up to 3”.

6. Step away from the consumer, and allow them to enjoy the experience. Return at the end of their session and ask them if they enjoyed the experience. The answer will be yes.

#1 Press RED POWER button

The EC-618 will go from the full upright position to the “starting” position

#2 Press GREEN Zero Gravity button

Explain what Zero Gravity means during this short

process. Once the EC-618 is in the ZeroG position, the footrest extends out and retracts back for height adjustment. Remind the consumer to resist with their heels as it retracts.

#3 Press the button

After pressing the demo button, the 60 second body scan will begin.

Use this 60 seconds to explain that the chair is measuring the dimensions of their back – length, width and the curvature of their spine.

#4 Allow the consumer enjoys the 5 minute DEMO

#5 Once the demo is complete, press the RED POWER button, and the

EC-618 will return to the starting position. Press the RED POWER button a second time to return to the full upright position.

Where on your back do you most often feel stress? “(establish if high back, neck area or lower back) “I'm going to manually set the massage to work on this area.” Press to recline Press "kneading“ once Explain “Let me know when the massage has reached the place you want worked on” Press “SPOT/PARTIAL” once to stop at the right place when customer says so Explain “So now the massage is working the area you wanted. Let's say you want it to be a bit harder there. I want you to press the joystick button here on the left slowly” Explain “Can you feel the extra depth of the massage now? Just push the other side of the joystick button and you can decrease the strength. This is unique to this chair and gives you the 3D power to massage where you want at the intensity you want. The Zen 3D has built in connection for your ipod/iphone/mp3 player. The speakers are recessed in top of the chair and designed to be limited in their

range, so as not to disturb other in the room.

The Zen 3D actually scans in 3 dimensions. Before a massage starts, the Zen 3D will scan your back in 3 dimensions. You will feel the massage rollers move inwards and outwards to "measure " you, and work out your acupressure map to ensure the massage works for your particular build.

The Zen 3D has heat built in to the chair if needed, in the place you need it- in the lumbar area of the back- not in the seat and feet like other chairs. Did you know the Zen 3D can recline even further back than the Zero Gravity position with your feet even higher up? Simply go to the ZeroG position

first , then press and hold the "Recline" button, located top right of the central Joystick button. This is a great position for you if you are on your feet a lot , or where you've been recommended to have your "feet up".

One of the great features of the Zen 3D is the "timer" button. It is auto set to a 15 minute massage. Each press increases the massage time by 5 minutes.

Want a bit more massage time? Just press the button twice and add 10 minutes! The Zen 3D has literally dozens of airbags designed to replicate the massages give by a massage therapist. The Zig-Zag program is a great one to try out

as it gently stretches the lower back by twisting movements created by air in the back and seat. A recent study suggested regular massage decreases stress hormones and increases white blood cells, indicating a boost in the immune system. Other

studies have shown reductions in blood pressure and a boost in Serotonin, a natural antidepressant.
