What he says / Qué diceHe talks with dirty words even though he doesn’t apply them literally. He also uses several local idioms as: “Che, boludo” or “Dejate de joder”. He is quite monothematic: he’s always talking about soccer, women and he’s continuously insulting politicians. Sex is a VERY common subject in his speech, and treats it in a detailed way, in any moment and place. The Argentinean expresses himself talking loudly and trying to impose his voice over the others´.

boludo” o “Dejate de joder”. Es bastante monotemático: siempre habla sobre fútbol, mujeres e insulta indiscriminadamente a los
políticos. El sexo es un tema MUY recurrente en su discurso, y lo trata de modo detallado en cualquier momento y lugar. El argentino se
expresa a los gritos intentando imponer su voz sobre la de los demás.

He falls in love easily and he likes to have a girlfriend. He is very passionate with his loved ones and that’s why he is so jealous. He craves for his soccer team and for his idols. His friends and family are two sacred values.

precio y mayor seguridad.
They are black and yellow. The price of the journey starts at $4,60 and every 200 meters the cost increases by $0.46. You can also take a call-taxi (radio taxi) for the same price and for more security.

Buses / Colectivos Inside Capital Federal there are more than 100 bus lines. They work 24 hours a day but during the night their frequency is reduced. The ticket costs $1.10 (not more than 3 km), $1.20 (between 3 and 6 km) or $1.25 (between 6 to 12 km). You can ask the driver how much it is to the place where you are going.You can only pay with coins. Make sure you have them ready when you get on...Argentineans are impatient. Colectivos have a fixed schedule...But the hardly ever respect it.
There are 6 lines that go through the busiest areas of the city. The ticket costs $1,10. You buy them in the ticket office inside the stations. Even if you get one thousand tickets, the price per ticket is still the same.The Metro works from 6.30 AM to 11 PM. Its frequency is around 5 minutes, but if you want to have a comfortable journey and survive this mean of transport, then avoid taking it between 9 and 10 AM and 6 and 7 PM.

Aún comprando mil pasajes, el precio no varía.Funcionan desde las 6.30 AM hasta las 11.00 PM. La frecuencia es
aproximadamente de 5 minutos. Pero si quieres viajar cómodo y sobrevivir a este transporte, evita tomarlo entre las 9 y 10 AM y las 6 y 7 PM.

Dentro de Capital Federal hay más de 100 líneas de colectivos. Funcionan las 24 horas, pero durante la noche su frecuencia se reduce.El boleto cuesta $1.10
(no más de 3 km), $1.20 (entre 3 y 6 km) o $1.25 (entre 6 y 12 km).Puedes preguntar al chofer cuánto cuesta hasta el lugar donde vas.
Se abona solamente con monedas. Te conviene tenerlas a mano porque los argentinos somos impacientes. Los colectivos tienen una frecuencia
determinada... Pero difícilmente se cumple.

There are lots of national and provincial routes spread throughout the country. Long distance buses are fast and comfortable. There are three different services differing in the number of stops and type of seats. They are called Regular, Semi-cama (semi-bed), and Cama (bed). If you have a long journey the best is Cama (bed) as the seat is similar to an airline’s first class.

Urban trains connect Capital Federal with the Greater Buenos Aires. They work between 5 AM and 1 AM. But try not to take them at night… It’s better to travel with some other means of transport.

Carlos Gardel is the synonymous of tango. He was composer, performer and even actor in innumerable songs and musicals. With him the famous Buenos Aires rhythm turned around all over the world. He was born in Toulouse and he arrived in Buenos Aires with his mother when he was 2 years old and lived most of his life in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Abasto. He began singing at age 17 and in 1925 was already popular throughout Latin America and 1927 was the year of his consecration in Europe. For the Paramount Studios he filmed several movies that extended his legend. On June 24, 1935 he died in a plane crash in Colombia, at the height of his career. The myth of Gardel crossed the entire twentieth century and today is a true icon of the tango and remains one of the most beloved of all Argentina.
Carlos Gardel es sinónimo de tango. Fue compositor, intérprete y actor de innumerables canciones y musicales. Con él el famoso ritmo porteño dio vuelta al mundo. Nació en 1890 en Toulouse y
llegó a Buenos Aires cuando tenía 2 años. Empezó a cantar a los 17 años y en 1925 ya era popular en toda América Latina y 1927 fue el año de su
consagración en Europa. De la mano de los estudios Paramount filmó varias películas que extendieron
su éxito y su leyenda. El 24 de junio de 1935 murió en un accidente aéreo en Colombia, en el auge de
su carrera. El mito de Gardel atravesó todo el siglo XX y hoy representa un verdadero ícono del tango y sigue siendo una de las personalidades más queridas

Formerly known as Bajo Fondo Tango Club, Bajofondo is a group of electronic Tango formed musicians by Uruguay and Argentina. Gathered by the well-known Gustavo Santaolalla, its members became from different styles music genres like pop, rock and electronic music. They released their first album in 2003, with their own compositions, songs from others writers and classics like “Naranjo en Flor”. In 2003 they won a Latin Grammy and in 2005 they won an award from the BBC. Covering genres such as electronics, electro-tango and rap, Bajofondo is a fusion of music that becomes a banquet for the senses and a revolution for the Tango. In addition, with the success of this band, the tango music managed to be more accessible to the new generations.
Antes conocido como Bajo Fondo Tango Club, Bajofondo es un grupo de tango electrónico formado
por músicos uruguayos y argentinos. Reunidos por el reconocido Gustavo Santaolalla, sus miembros
provienen de estilos diversos como el pop, rock y la música electrónica. Su primer disco fue editado en
2003, con composiciones propias, canciones de otros autores y clásicos como “Naranjo en Flor”.
En 2003 ganaron un Premio Grammy Latino y en 2005 un premio de la BBC. Abarcando géneros como la
electrónica, electro-tango y el rap, Bajofondo es una fusión de música que se convierte en un deleite para los
sentidos y en una revolución para el Tango. Además, de la mano de su éxito, el grupo logró club hacer
que el tango sea una música accesible para las nuevas generaciones.

La Hoya ski resort, located in the province of Chubut, starts its season on June, 19th. It is characterized by its family atmosphere, with activities thought for adults and children. It has 24 ski slopes, within an area of 22 kilometers. You can do downhill skiing and snowboarding. Its services include ski school, first aid, childcare center, bars, track service, rescue team and equipment, parking and rental equipment. The season is open until October, 12th. El centro de ski La Hoya, ubicado en la Provincia de Chubut, comienza su temporada el 19 de junio. Se caracteriza por su ambiente familiar, con actividades para que disfruten desde los más grandes a los más chicos. Cuenta con 24 pistas, con una extensión de 22 kilómetros. Se puede hacer ski alpino y snowboard. Entre sus servicios de destacan una escuela de
esquí, sala de primeros auxilios, guardería infantil, confitería, servicio de pista, equipos de rescate, estacionamiento y alquiler de equipos. Hasta el 12 de octubre se puede disfrutar sus pistas.
Catadral Alta Patagonia, located in Bariloche, Province of Río Negro, has the largest ski area in South America. More than 1200 hectares of ski slopes, forests, canyons and off-piste zones. 120 km of ski slopes and 38 ski lifts that simultaneously carry 35 thousand skiers per hour demostrate the magnitude of this ski resort. It has a Terrain Park -an area where you can practice tricks, stunts and jumps-. La Hoya offers different services such as downhill ski and snowboarding classes, Fun Carving (Big Foot, Telemark, cross-country skiing), 300 professional instructors, snowmobiles and ATVs, Snowbike, sleds and snowshoes. The season goes from June through early October.
Catadral Alta Patagonia, ubicado en Bariloche, Provincia de Río Negro, cuenta con la mayor superficie esquiable de América
del Sur. Más de 1200 hectáreas, de pistas esquiables, bosques, cañadones y zonas fuera de pista. 120 kilómetros de pistas y 38 medios de elevación que transportan simultáneamente a 35 mil esquiadores por hora dan cuenta de la magnitud de este centro
de esquí. Cuenta con Terrain Park, un área donde practicar tricks, piruetas y saltos. Como servicios ofrece clases de esquí alpino y Snowboard,
Fun Carving (Big Foot, Telemark, Ski Nórdico), 300 instructores profesionales, motos de nieve y cuatriciclos, snowbikes, trineos y raquetas para nieve. La
temporada es de junio a principios de octubre.

In the heart of the Andes, you find the paradisiacal place of Valle de Las Leñas. The magic of this ski center is the result
of the combination of nature, comfort, adventure and relaxation. Its base is located about 2.240 meters above sea level and its top at 3.430 meters. Las Leñas is ideal for skiing and snowboarding lovers, because thanks to its geographical location, the Valley offers a long season from June to October. It also has 13 lifts, 28 ski slopes, 2,000 meters of iluminated tracks for night skiing and one of the longest continuous downhills in the world.

For almost 25 years since the first Oscar for Argentina, Juan Jose Campanella film won the prize as the best foreign film. “El Secreto de Sus Ojos” was viewed by two and a half million spectators after its premiere in August 2009, becoming the most popular film of the past 34 years.Starring Ricardo Darin, who plays the sheriff Benjamin Esposito, and Soledad Villamil on the skin of the young lawyer Irene Hastings, the movie is based on the novel “La Pregunta de sus Ojos”, by the Argentinean writer Eduardo Sacheri, and focuses on a crime and an unresolved love, that pursue their players for more than two decades. The film also won two of the nine Spanish Goya awards and won five Coral prizes in La Havana.

The period covered by this exhibition is between 1903 and 1929, and it shows Fader’s works as a student in Germany, the landscapes of Mendoza and Córdoba. The exhibition also presents a film on the artist’s life. The entrance is free and with Fader’s show, the winter of the city is inaugurated. Opening hours: Monday trough Friday from 11:00 to 21:00, and Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00 hs. In the same gallery, during July, continues the exhibition of Ernesto Bertani’s works that show the modern man, his fears, his creativity and moral. Zurbarán Colección Alvear, located in Alvear Av. 1658, also begins the season with a very special tribute, inaugurating the Leopoldo Presas’ exhibition, on June 14th at 19:00 hs. A year after his death, the exposition shows a fine selection of 24 works representing 50 years of experience. The route, full of beautiful lakes and viewpoints, is one of the tours you shouldn’t miss. In Arrayanes National Park (Myrtle), on Victoria Island, you’ll find trees species that are as old as 650. You can also visit Puerto Manzano, where there are hotels, lodges and gorgeous tea houses. As you travel through Argentina, you shouldn’t miss San Martin de los Andes!

agua y hermosos miradores, es una de los recorridos que no puedes dejar de hacer. En el Parque Nacional
de Arrayanes, en Isla Victoria, encontrarás especies de árboles hasta 650 años de edad. También puedes
visitar Puerto Manzano, donde se concentran hoteles, hosterías y, casas de té de ensueño. ¡En tu viaje

En la Argentina hay más de 600 pueblos en crisis por despoblamiento. Sus habitantes no encuentran oportunidades de futuro en los lugares que habitan y emigran hacia ciudades donde
se asientan en condiciones marginales.Responde es una Organización de Promoción y Desarrollo fundada en 1999 con la Misión de “Identificar y promover
acciones que brinden, a los habitantes de los pueblos rurales en riesgo de desaparición por despoblamiento, las oportunidades
sociales y económicas para la recuperación de sus comunidades, a partir de su propia libertad, espíritu emprendedor y vocación
de superarse”.Revival es un programa ideado por Responde que ofrece una
experiencia única alejada de las imágenes estereotipadas de la vida en América Latina. La simple posibilidad de conocer y vivir
en las comunidades rurales donde Responde lleva adelante sus proyectos es una experiencia enriquecedora.
El voluntario deberá hacernos llegar sus propuestas de actividad o talleres que desee desarrollar en el pueblo y/o temas de
investigación relacionados con sus estudios. Todos ellos serán bienvenidos.

In Argentina there are over 600 villages in depopulation crisis. Its inhabitants don’t find future opportunities in the places where they live and they migrate to cities where they settle in marginal conditions.Responde is a Promotion and Development Organization founded in 1999 with a mission: “to identify and promote actions that provide, inhabitants of rural villages at risk of extinction due to depopulation, with social and economic opportunities for the recovery of their communities, with their own freedom, entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to overcome difficult situations”.Revival is a program designed by Responde to offer a unique experience away from the stereotyped images of life in Latin America. The possibility of knowing and living in rural communities, where Responde carries out its projects, is an enriching experience.Volunteer workers must give us their proposals of activities or workshops that would like to develop in the village and/or the research subject related to their studies. All of them are welcome.More than 50 volunteers have already become part of Revival. Be one of them!
