Guide Usage

The guidelines in this document are

recommendations for using the Zurn brand on

product packaging. They standardize the size

and placement of the logo and all mandatory and

optional information.

Zurn brand consistency is critical to gaining

customer recognition and trust. By following this

guide, Zurn packaging will remain consistent across

all our verticals and products, from retail to stock in

the warehouse. It all matters.

Logo Placement

Size and Placement: MASTER PACK

The largest Zurn logo should be 1/3 the width of the Major Side. All other logos on the box should be between 1/3 and 4” wide

Opposing sides should have the same size logo.

Size and Placement: UNIT PACKS

Position the Zurn logo in the upper left corner of the Major Side with enough clear space around it. The logo size should be proportional to the surface area of that side.

Minimum size is 0.75”. The Zurn logo should be prominent enough, so customers see it first.

For all other sides, the logo is placed in the lower right corner. Minimum size is 0.75”. Minimum: 0.75” wide

Prop 65 Warning

Two-color Warning:

All retail packaging printed with four colors requires

the two-color Prop 65 Warning.

One-color Warning:

All non-retail Zurn packaging printed with one or two

colors can use the one-color warning. Use our PMS

3005 or black.

For more information, please contact Zurn’s

compliance officer.

Prop 65 Warning Usage:

All Zurn packaging needs to include the Prop 65 messaging per California laws. This warning must use above a 6-pt font. Prop 65 Warning must

be in English, Spanish and French, unless the carton cannot support that much space (see page 23 for blister pack anatomy).

TYPICAL INSTALLATION

Local codes shall govern installation requirements. Unless otherwise specified, the assembly shall be mounted at a minimum of 12" (305 mm) above the highest piping or outlet downstream of the device. Install with adequate drain and sufficient side clearance for testing and maintenance. The installation shall be made so that no part of the unit can be submerged. A pressure vacuum breaker cannot be installed where back-pressure could occur or where spillage of water from vent could cause damage.
