Course DescriptionThis course is based on building the foundation of the language. By the end of Chinese 1A, students will be able to present short simple narratives and conduct conversations.
Focus on speaking and listening first, and then reading and writing.
Various aspects of Chinese culture are integrated throughout the course including calligraphy, carving name seals, singing Chinese songs, making sky lanterns, moon cakes … etc.
