A regular feature of the DHT is YOUR 10 BEST, and we encourage you to be a part of it.
And speaking of regular, we’re going to have to put Dan Wever on staff pretty soon. He’s a regular contributor to Your 10 Best, and he always has great stuff.
“These were taken Harmon Valley Rodeo which was held the same weekend the Teepee Creek Rodeo. Quite a few competitors in both rodeos rushed back and forth to each rodeo to compete in each event so it was a VERY busy weekend for the cowboys and cowgirls! (Oh yeah... the Charlie Major concert on Saturday night was awesome!)”

Saving best for last, this was taken a few years ago when Grande Prairie hosted the Canadian Hot Air Balloon Festival. There’s nothing like seeing a dozen or so of these “fire blowing monsters” lighting up the night sky!

A new and regular feature of the DHT will be YOUR TEN BEST, and we encourage you to be a part of it. Today, pictures are
worth a thousand words for sure: It’s Dan Wever’s salute to fall fauna, one of a few we will share with you before the snow falls. For fun, ID all the
species shown, email me at [email protected] and win a prize courtesy of the DHT and the Grande Prairie Storm.
