Ideas to consider:
Get involved with ACS outreach during IYC 2011!
Plan IYC 2011 activities using our ACS toolkits, featuring ideas, templates, and sample presentations.
Ask your employer to post the IYC logo on their website and sponsor an activity for the community, the staff, or local schools.
Approach a local official with a prepared proclamation for IYC.
Develop and maintain contacts with local news media and let them know about IYC.
Partner with a teacher or scout leader to help demonstrate science concepts for the kids.
