Airline A-CDM Coordination Group (AACG) Terms of Reference

1. Objective1.1 TheobjectiveoftheAirlineA-CDMCoordinationGroup(“theGroup”)isto

influencetheharmonizationandfutureimplementationsofA-CDMandassociatedadvancedprocessesacrossairportsandtoinfluencepoliciesandstrategiesforfuturedevelopmentoftheconcept.Thegroupintendstoactasasinglevoicerepresentingtheairlinecommunity,andtoworkandcollaboratewithATMandindustrypartnerstoachieveacommonandequitablegoal.Thisapproachistobettercoordinateandsharebestpractice,andthereforeensureapositiveandbeneficialoutcomeforallstakeholders.

2. Membership2.1 TheGroupwillhaveaMembership,agreedbytheIATAAirportServices

Committee,consistingofnotmorethan15airlinemembers.MembershipisreviewedincoordinationwiththeIATAsecretaryandtheChairofthegroup.

2.2 Toensureindustry-widerepresentation,theEurocontrolNetworkManager,GroundHandlers,AirportsCouncilInternationalandindividualairportsareinvitedtojoinasappropriate.Participationinthegroupisbyinvitationonly,bytheIATAsecretary,incoordinationwiththeChairofthegroup.

3. RulesandProcedures

3.1 FacetoFacemeetingsand/orvirtualmeetingsmaybecalledbytheIATA

secretary,incoordinationwiththeGroup’sChair.

3.2 Meetingsshallbeheldinasuitablelocationhavingregardtothelocationofmembers,accessibilityandcost.

3.3 Wheredecisionmakingisrequired,ifthegroupisnotabletomakeaunanimousdecision,avotewillbetakenwhichwillthenbebindingonthegroup.

4. RolesandResponsibilities

4.1 EachmemberoftheGroupshallparticipateinhisorhercapacityasa

representativeoftheorganizationatwhichheorsheisemployed.EachmembershallnotifyIATAifalternaterepresentationisrequired.

4.2 IATAshallhavetheresponsibilitytocoordinatemeetingsoftheGroupincludingthepreparationoftheagendafor,andreportsofthemeeting,andarrangeforappropriatesupportservices(forexample,legalandtechnicalsupport).

4.3 IATAshallprovideappropriatemeetingfacilitiesandaudio/visualequipment.
