Scope: Development of an fibre-optic sensor system for multi-parameterself-monitoring motor drives.Goal: Enhanced reliability of electrical machines and their time-to-failure prediction (adaptive parameter estimation algorithms, lifetime models).Purpose: Development of test setup to investigate the integration of FBGs into the electrical drive components and the machine itself.
