This Magazine cover uses many of the codes and

conventions of a typical magazine cover. The masthead is

in a large font so it can be spotted from far away. The image

and he main cover line take up most of the room on the

front of the magazine as it is the most exciting story and the

story that will attract people to the magazine. As Eminem is

a rapper, he is dressed as a stereo typical rapper would be,

for example, cap on and hood up. There is also a colour

scheme of red, black and white.

The masthead is at the top of the page and is large, this is

because it is the name of the magazine and people will be able

to spot it from far away. There is a splash at the top of the

page, this is there to add extra information which isn't worthy of

a cover line. The main image is always the largest thing on this

cover, this is because people will see this music artist and if

they are interested on them, they will buy the magazine. The

cover lines are in a smaller text at the sides as they are content

within the magazine, but not the main headline, so it doesn’t

have as large of a text as the main cover line.
