What a larf!IF there is one thingI am constantlyreminded of as weinteract withpeople acrossthe range ofindustries we are related to, isthat no one is one-dimensional.
We are truly the sum total ofmany parts.
Its a fact that was broughthome during a recent IHGInterContinental and Crowne
Plaza Adelaide famil.Jennifer Dullens, a bdm at
the Crowne Plaza, has deviseda number of conversation-creating question cards associal icebreakers and such istheir success, she has created abusiness called the ChatterboxCollection.
We tested out her ClassicCollection at a Crowne Plazadinner where a question card wasplaced on our dinner plates.
Each person around the table
asked their question in turn. The result was almost non-
stop laughter and hilarious storyproducing answers.
There are editions for otheroccasions too such as the BlackLabel, Family, Girls Only and theWedding Edition.
Check out the range onchatterboxcollections.com , theymake an extremely funky gift.
Have a great week! Jill

Sitting Pretty
Welcome to Sitting Pretty, our regular review ofexperiences up the front of the plane.
Singapore Airlines Business Class
Singapore Airlines is the airline of choice for many business and premiumleisure travellers, with its premium cabins setting the benchmark for other
carriers. Business Events News recently experienced the carriers A380Business Class product on a fight between Sydney and Singapore.
THE SEATThe sheer scale of the Airbus A380 has seen Singapore Airlines
produce what has to be aviations widest business class seat. Locatedon the top deck of the superjumbo, seats are arranged in a forward-facing 1-2-1 format so everyone has easy aisle access and plenty ofprivacy. Its claimed to be the most spacious business class the worldhas ever seen, and from BENs experience that is certainly true.
As well as providing plenty of room to relax or work, the seat foldsdown into a fully at bed, and you sleep on a proper mattress which wehave found to be very comfortable.
The seat is equipped with conveniently located USB and power ports
for charging devices, and theres a large table with plenty of room for alaptop or to spread out work documents.
ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMSingapore Airlines has always been a strong innovator, and its
KrisWorld inight entertainment system is no exception. Recentlythe airline announced the world rst deployment of the PanasoniceX3 technology on some of its newest aircraft. The A380 BENwas onfeatured the previous generation of the system which is completelyadequate, with a huge array of new release movies, TV shows, CDsand other content to while away the hours in ight. The on-demandsystem is very responsive, allowing shows to be easily paused, resumedand rewound as required so you dont miss a moment of the action.Noise reducing headphones are provided, reducing the sound from the
already extremely quiet cabin of the A380s.SERVICE
In BENs experience the cabin crew make a huge impact on onesoverall impression of a ight, and Singapore Airlines does notdisappoint. Service on both sectors was discreet and unobtrusive, thoughtfully anticipating whatever was required. Meals wereinteresting and delicious, with a great mix of Asian and Western disheson oer. A slight disappointment was company policy which meantthat some ofBENs family members travelling on the same ight ineconomy class were sent scurrying after coming forward for a chat!
On the ground Singapore Airlines oers lounges across the globe, andon ights from several ports including Sydney, Melbourne, Singaporeand London you can also book the cook by preselecting your meals
from an expanded menu of dining options prior to departure.
