-Systemic Approach to Global Education.
-
- In the light of Gobalization and Market Economies, states are obliged
to manage their activities via systemics which constitute the state power
systemic.
-The education systemic is the key systemic because it provides all the
state systemics, with human resources.
This systemization reality Imposed by Globalization of all the
state activities including Education.
-INTRODUCTION
- In January 2010, the Royal Society and the
American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)
noted that "science diplomacy"
Refers to three main types of activities:1-“Science in diplomacy”:
Science can provide advice to inform and support foreign policy objectives.2-“Diplomacy for science”:
Diplomacy can facilitate international scientific cooperation.
3-"Science for diplomacy”: Scientific cooperation can improve international
relations.
What is the meaning of Science Diplomacy?
-The current education and training
systems
are not given in most cases, an educational
product is capable of systemic creative
management of the local and international
problems/ Crisis because of systemic
origin, and consequences.
Are the Current National Education
and Training Systems Able To GiveEducational Product Meets The
Challenges of Global Problems/Crisis?
-This new Global Reality imposes on the states;
An immediate review of the education
and training systems
to give a product meet s the requirements
of the global AGE
Full of global challenges and systemic risks.
What are The Global Problems& Crisis?
- The problems/Crises that have too long effects around the world .
- The world lives under the influence of global problems”
Terrorism, Global Warming, & Global Economic Crisis”
.
-SE meets the requirements forPreparation global citizen able to ;
1- Solve the current & future global systemic
problems /crisis for sustainable shared future.
2- Meet the systemic requirements of the Global Labor Market .
3- Enhance Science Diplomacy via scientific cooperation which improve the
international relations.
Does The Systemic Education [SE]
Meets The Requirements for Preparation
of Global Citizens?
Goals of Global Education - To prepare Global Citizen via
International Scientific cooperation
- To effectively gather teachers from the world in global efforts[Global
Education]; to teach in a variety of cultural settings
& build cross curriculum unites to prepare their students to be global
Citizen.
This fits with the theme of "Science for Diplomacy”:
Scientific cooperation can improve international relations.
- Educational and training institutions must
be under a new vision of education model
earn learners performance skills of systemic
and creative thinking enable them to work
skillfully, and efficiently for global human development &
preparation of global citizen.
What are the Role of Education and Training Institutions in
The Global Human Developments

Global Citizen
The process of increasing the connectivity and interdependence of
the world's markets and businesses.
Systemic Nature of GlobalizationGlobalization is systemic Due to;
- The enormous interconnections of “ Economic, Cultural, Technological,
Political “ Domains, which bind the Local and National into the Global Community.
What is the meening of Globalization?
- [GE] means integration of global perspective across the learning areas.- OR The Educational system that cross
bounders around the world. i.e. free movements of teachers, students, curricula, and teaching
materials withinthe frame of Global standars.
-OR The Education that opens the people eyes and minds to realities of globalized world with its challenges
and awaken them to bring about world of greater justice, equity, and human
rights for all.
What is Global Education[GE] ?
Prepare the students
- T o develop skills and attitudes which enable them to take responsibility for their own lives and the world we live in
and become active global citizens. -To broaden horizons and encourages
exploration of all subjects from a global perspective.
-To intensify the scientific cooperation for science Diplomacy
- To enhance our common understanding of the world.
Objectives of Global Education
Stresses The Global systemic relations
-It looks at the ways in which every-day life and experiences affect and are affected
by the wider world.
-It is as much about the relationships within a classroom as it is about
relationships between countries around the world.
What are the systemic perspectives
of Global Education?
Systemic Reform of The Current Education Systems Should Focus on :
7-Dimentions. - Divergent qualities. - Creative flexibility.
- Predictive accuracy .- Future consequences.
-Global systemic solutions.- Skills of systemic thinking.
-Skills of systemic management.
What are the Qualities of the Systemic Approach
To Global Education [SAGE]
I: Follow the [IDCB] items:
[Implementing-Designing- Combining-Building]
i: Implementing 6-Global in the writing of ;
[Mission & vision – Goals & Objectives – Programs – Courses – Standards – Outcomes].
Road Map for Systemic Approach To Global Education:[SAGE]
ii: Designing Curriculum Systemically Via- 6-Systemic – Based
- Objectives
- unites
- Courses
- Programs
-Overarching Standards
- Overarching outcomes
iii: Combining teaching materials from one or more learning emphases
across learning areas.
- The learning domains developed in one learning area will enhance
learning in the others.
iv: Building Global Assessment Via
Systemic Assessment package
II- Designing Global Systemic Academic Programs [GSAP]
for preparation of the Global Citizen [G.C.]:
i -The programme should meet the requirements of national
and/or regional/ global defined goals.
ii - The programme should take an account
of the impact of systemic interaction of cultural, economic, social, political and
environmental , global domains.
iii - The program should acknowledge and recognize the dignity, and the
uniqueness of all human beings around the world.
iv-The program should encourage the students to create systemic elements &
interactions.
III : Designing Global Systemic Training Programs [GSTP] for preparation
of Global Teachers [GT] via:
Systemic programs should take the following into account ;
i-Prepare teachers to ;Teach in a variety of cultural settings.
ii- Think and act systemically;locally and globally.
iii-Practice of a Global Web-
based Discussion Forum as a Global Knowledge Building Community.
iv - Understand ;how world is interconnected
systemically.
v-Believe in systemic education for sustainable development.
vi - Acknowledge and recognize the
dignity, and the uniqueness of all human beings around the world.
Vii- Gain communication skills to enhance Science Diplomacy via
international scientific cooperation.
Viii- Encourage the students to create systemic elements & interaction.
IV: Using ICT
Information and Communication Technology [ICT ] :
- Have the potential to engage global
students & teachers to a wider
systemic view of the global society,
facilitates systemic thinking,
teaching, and global activities.
1- One-to-One computing:
- The trend in classrooms around the world is to provide an information
appliance to every learner and create learning environments that assume
universal access to the technology.
- Classrooms should prepare for the universal availability of personal
learning devices.
Global Trends in ICT and Education
2- Teacher-Generated Open Content.
- School systems are increasingly open to universal learning resources
that is most effective in the classroom.
-Many online texts allow teachers to edit, add to, or otherwise customize
material for their students that exactly suits the
style and pace of the course.
3- Everywhere Learning
- With the evolution of increasingly
strong global connectivity
Infrastructure & cheaper computers, school systems around the world
are developing the ability to provide learning opportunities to students.
“Anytime, Anywhere”
Recommendations:ENHANCE SCIENCE FOR
DEPLOMACY BY INTERNATIONAL COOPRERARION FOR STRENGTHEN [SGE ]VIA
THE FOLLOWING:
- Development of new systemic methodology
for preparation of global citizens.
- Designing Systemic global training programs for teachers.
-Writing Systemic –based; objectives - overarching standards -
overarching outcomes- unites - courses
and programs.
-
-Writing Systemic teaching materials for student volunteers that is modeled
after experimentation.
-Building Global systemic assessment package for students.
-Establish Center of Systemic Global Education, as an international focal point for
-global cooperation in;i-The SGE activities,
