Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose College's EBSB Club is
organizing a webinar series 'Ek Bharat shreshth Bharat:
Dekho Apna Desh' under the title ‘Sasyak @ Awadh’ from
16.06.2020. The Second webinar of the series held on 09 July 2020
was based on the heritage and culture of Ayodhya and Sultanpur
area of UP. The webinar was attended by more than 800 students
& teachers from across the country. Faculty and students of the
paired institution Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, Arunachal
Pradesh have also participated actively. This webinar was
conducted through the gotomeeting platform and was also streamed
live on YouTube.
Inauguration The webinar was inaugurated by Principal
Dr. Anuradha Tiwari did it. She welcomed
all the guests, speakers and participants in
the second webinar of the webinar series
Sasyak@Awadh. She expressed her views
on the importance of Ayodhya as well as
Sultanpur. She told that Ayodhya is an inseparable part of Awadh and
owns a long cultural history and heritage, which enriches the historical
treasures of Uttar Pradesh.

and Sultanpur, covering themes of
heritage, monuments, food,
dressing, art and culture of Ayodhya
and Sultanpur.

Singh, Principal KNIT, Sultanpur)
Dr. Radheyshyam Singh from Kamla
Nehru Institute of Physical and
Social Sciences Sultanpur gave a
detailed account of the historical and
cultural prosperity of Sultanpur, UP.
Eminent Speaker, Dr. Kavita Singh
Dr Kavita Singh, Associate Prof (dept
of History), talked about the history,
heritage and monuments of Ayodhya.
She explained various aspects of
culture, tourism and importance about
Ayodhya very effectively.
Distinguished Speaker, Dr Hari Loyi,
Arunachal Pradesh
The distinguished speaker is Dr. Hari Loyi,
Assistant Prof, Arunachal Pradesh talked
about the ancient culture, Festival and
dressing of Arunachal Pradesh especially
Galo Couple and mesmerized the audience
with his flawless lecture.
Mr. Ravi Bhatt, The
The distinguished speaker of the day spoke about the
history and culture of the North
Region. Under an authority on the history of Awadh he
dealt with various
Aspects of Lucknow and its rich culture.
Speaker, Mr. Jai Prakash Verma
Mr. Jai Prakash Verma, Assistant
Prof, NSCB GGPG College, Lucknow,
spoke warmly on food as well as
Craft culture and tradition of
Ayodhya, which was well received
by the people.
Apart from this, Members of the EBSB club and many students also gave their
presentation related to the culture and tradition of Ayodhya and Sultanpur. Dr
Meenakshi Shukla, Co-organizing Secretary and member EBSB Club, summarized
the proceeding of the day and Dr. Poonam Verma (Nodal Officer) conveyed vote
of thanks. Many hindi dailies provided coverage to the event which was received
enthusiastically by the audience.
